"N-no..." Shinji could hardly believe his ears. "Is... Is that true? Do you not want to be with Kiyoshi Matsumoto?"

Upon hearing the stupid question, Akiko burst into tears.

"How many times do you want me to say it?" She howled. "You stupid, stupid man!!!"

Akiko started hitting on Shinji wherever she could reach.

"Ouch! Ouch! Akiko-san, stop!" Shinji wailed in response.

"Akiko-san, what is happening?" Master Yamagata's voice was heard outside of Akiko's bed chamber, filling both Akiko and Shinji with fear.

"It's nothing!" Akiko cried out. "Father, I am fine!"

The doorknob rattled violently in Master Yamagata's grip, but the door remained stubbornly unyielding.

"Akiko-san! Let me in at once!"

"Get out! Get out, now!" Akiko thrust Shinji towards the window, but he recoiled in a surge of panic.

"I can't! Akiko-san, I don't know how to climb down the wall!"
