"Hey bring me a cup of tea. I feel so cold in here." Lui Xian ordered Feng Shao who was busy fixing supper in the small room just next to the one he was in. He could smell the fragrance of the burning wood and aslo the aroma of the food he was making.
The other man did not even acknowledge his mere existence as he remained very busy, adding wood in the fire and putting water in the pot. He had managed to make two dishes so far. And the annoying guy he hated so much was being lazy in the room not even bothering to help. Anyways he liked it that way, he didn't have to see his face. Well not for too long.
When he didn't see anyone coming with his tea, Lui Xian moved into the kitchen and sat on a reed mat in a position where he could see the other do all the work. He observed each and every movement the other performed seeming it as if it's a show.
When he was too bored in the silence, he supported his elbow on the ground and rested his head on his palm. One of his legs laid flat on the ground and the other facing upwards. His blue robe was sprawled on the ground and his other hand caressing his non-beared smooth chin that he had just shaved early that morning.
His hair fell on his shoulders some reaching the ground. He looked just like royalty resting after a tiring day.
When he saw that Feng Shao was giving him a cold shoulder, he stood up and shouted, "Hey, did you not hear me! I have asked for tea."
"Come on stop ignoring me."
He in turn coaxed in a soft voice while he started walking towards him, his robes swaying back and forth almost catching fire. Lui Xian had been staying with this family for a few days now and all he was doing all the time was getting under Feng Shao's skin. He was doing a good job at it.
The other man could only endure as he waited for someone to take him away. In the meantime and all he could do was ignore the detestable demon and continue with what he was doing.
It took a few minutes before Lui Xian got tired of pestering him and waited patiently before he heard footsteps coming from outside of the small kitchen. He turned and rushed out to welcome Old Feng who was just coming from a gathering with the elders.
Lui Xian could smell sake just from the kitchen door. When he was outside he ran to support the man who seemed to be walking in a zig-zag manner. And struggling to keep himself up.
zzzzzzzzzzzz
"He is snoring?" He was quite surprised. He used little strength to carry him towards the sleeping area. He knew the old man had joined the others for a cup and didn't realise that he had drunk almost the full pot himself.
When Lui Xian returned to the kitchen and found no one inside, he gave a mischievous smirk and dashed towards the pot cooking.
He opened the lead and some saliva accumulated in his mouth and some leaked as it trailed down at the corner of his mouth, his eyes twinkling so bright. He looked at the chicken cooking inside. After a quick decision he turned around checking to see if Feng Shao was in sight before reaching for a piece.
"I am taking the drumstick." He grabbed it and immediately shoved it in his mouth.
"Hot hot." He complained while trying to ease the burn. He was too focused on eating and disregarded Feng Shao who was behind him. At first, Feng Shao was shocked then he got angry and reached for a needle in his sleeves.
"Is it good?"
"Yes very yummy." Lui Xian responded absentmindedly before he was struck by lightning and looked back in a hurry taking a few steps back feeling the temperature that had dropped and looked at the veins that were poping on Feng Shao's forehead.
"I.....I....." He could not find any words to explain. All he could do was look at the bone in his hands which he quickly threw on the floor. Feng Shao didn't even wait for him to explain himself. He moved extremely fast and poked him at a pressure point.
"Get out." He whispered bearly controlling the desire to end the rascal's life. Lui Xian sprinted towards the market and mixed in with others.
'Phew.....I got away.' He was relieved. He stretched his arms feeling very happy and full of energy.
"And I am also full. Let's find a place to rest." He murmured to himself before heading to the hill he had found the other day.
The night was approaching steadily as he wielded a wooden sword leaping and somersaulting on the space on the hill. Sometimes he would play around with the trees as he flooded the ground with green fresh leaves and branches he had just destroyed.
Little drops of sweat were just falling from his forehead. He looked down at the village houses. He could not help but give a bitter smile as his beloved image passed through his mind.
"Your Majesty I will return."
He moved away from the hilly area and as he was descending his stomach started to feel hot and something seemed as if it was moving inside. The need to relieve himself hit him with great force. And he sprinted to the bushes. He didn't waste even a millisecond as he squatted down and let it all out.
His behind emitted so much heat as his stomach felt pretty much empty. He walked slowly and did not rush afraid that his stomach would do its calling.
The poor soul did not sleep the whole night as he made it difficult for nightly creatures to do their duties. He recalled that after eating Feng Shao pricked him with a needle. And now he was suffering. In his heart he swore to never get on his wrong side ever again.
Gruuuuuuuu....gruuuuuuu.
"Again!" He cried.
