Capítulo 23: Chapter 23: True Religion

"This world is under the control of a Goa'uld underlord of the Systemlord Camulus. Her name is Qetesh. It's only a slave world with small deposits of Naquadah. The only purpose of this planet is to mine these small deposits. She comes once a year to collect them; the last time was two months ago. And this planet is so isolated that there are no other visitors besides Qetesh," Harry explained to Pansy as he returned to the small temple dedicated to Qetesh where the Gate stood.

"Are these small Naquadah deposits really worth potentially upsetting Camulus? From what I could ascertain, there are only around two hundred thousand human slaves inhabiting this planet. It's not even on an industrial level technology-wise," she replied, as she had, during her scouting, found out the number of people and the level of technology on the planet.

"The number of people is perfect. It will take a while to convert them all into members of the Magus race. We only managed to make a few hundred symbiotes these last few weeks, and from what I can tell, their potential is low. They will at most only be able to turn into low-level Magus, around 25% genetic adaptation. Although this is only slightly above a squib who is at 15%, it's enough for low-level magic. They deeply believe in Goa'uld being gods. What if they could become some themselves?" Harry smirked.

"I never doubted that they are easy to convert, but is it really worth it? There isn't much here," she pointed out again.

"Oh, my dear Pansy. There is so much more here than you would believe. The technology of the Goa'uld isn't advanced enough to even detect it or use it. But there are mid-sized deposits of neutronium on this planet. Sure, the size and amount of the planet aren't enough to make it a core world, but it will be a good outpost to begin. With how rare neutronium is, it will be quite worth it. Even once we've mined it for all its resources, it only needs a slight terraforming to become a productive farmworld," Harry said excitedly.

Neutronium is even more useful than Naquadah; many of the most advanced technologies require it. One of its uses could, for example, be a powerful power generator, the closest thing to a potentia known to the Alterans; at least that was stable and not highly researchable. But it is also used in the most advanced weapons, shields, or even beaming technology.

"Shall we introduce ourselves to our new subjects?" he asked as he could feel some humans approach the temple. They stood there while a man entered the gate room. As soon as he saw them, he ran out and said, "This will be fun."

He returned seconds later, with more people armed with staff weapons aiming at them. "These are the weapons of our God, Qetesh! Who are you? What are you doing here?" he shouted threateningly.

Harry waved his hand and disarmed the guards of their staff weapons. "How dare you disrespect the Emperor of the Magus Empire! A race of true gods!"Harry warned them, his eyes giving off blue light.

"Qetesh is our true God! You better leave or she will punish you for your disrespect," the man threatened back, fear in his eyes.

"I never heard of Qetesh. She must be one of these parasites posing as gods," he said, pulling Kara Kesh out. "Recognize this?"

"Yes, this is the same jewelry our God Qetesh is wearing!" their leader said, recognizing it. "Have you stolen it?"

"No, I just killed one of these 'Gods' because he disrespected me and took it from his body. This is a tool, a weapon, just like the weapons you were using a few moments ago," he said, levitating one of the staff weapons around. "These so-called 'Gods' are using it and similar tools to pretend to be gods," he said while firing off a blast wave with the Kara Kesh, destroying a part of a wall in the temple.

"If this were true, how do we know you aren't doing the same?" he pointed out, which is justified.

Harry threw the Kara Kesh to him before showing his hands and clothes that there were no devices on him. "Just my clothes. Watch the power of the Magus, the seekers of knowledge and truth." Waving his hand, the wall began to reconstruct itself, soon repaired and looking better than ever before.

"I have never witnessed Qetesh doing something like this," said one of the men besides the leader.

The leader soon calmed down himself and asked, "We recognize your power, my Lord. What may we call you?"

"I am the Emperor of the Magus Race. You may call me Emperor. We are bringing you a good message. You are allowed to serve the Empire, and for good service, you will be rewarded to become fully blown members of the Magus race!" Harry announced grandly.

"Wait, do you mean to say we can become gods ourselves?" Their leader asked, stunned and slightly hopeful.

"Yes, everyone who serves the Empire faithfully enough will be rewarded," Harry said, nodding. "As a reward for being the first ones to bow to true gods."You can join us now."

Harry blinded them with a bright Lumos before he quickly levitated nine Magus symbiotes out of his pouch into their bodies, initiating the transformation process for these nine men.

Soon, they opened their eyes again, a blue glow not as intense as Harry's in their eyes. "Good morning, newborn Magus. May you proudly serve my Empire and the Imperial Family," Harry said with a wide smile on his face, as he felt the control he could exert over them through their symbiotes. Pansy had a similar expression on her face.

Yes, they have become similar to wizards, being able to manipulate Zero-Point Energy or Hok'tar, the wet dream of many Goa'uld. But at the same time, they were nothing more than slaves to the imperial family.

"Thank you for your gift, your Majesty. We will serve the Empire with our lives!" they said as they kneeled in front of Harry and Pansy.

"Good slaves! It's time to meet your people and introduce them to their new gods," Pansy said with a wide smile on her face. This was the treatment she had been looking for since experiencing the life of Isis. A pure-blood lady like her always wanted to be treated like a goddess.

"Yes, there is much to do. We will need to build the power of the empire. And we only have 10 months until we will need it. You have received the gift of engineering; you will be the builders of our new fortification," he pointed at the crates behind him at the gate that Kreacher had thrown in after them.

They contained the different tools that they had constructed, like laser drills, hover carts, multi-function tools, and more. They are a bit rudimentary since they were made only out of materials found on Earth, but good enough to raise the efficiency of the people on this planet, who are still only using primitive tools. It would do until they had the capability to construct more efficient mining vessels that could do their work automatically.
