RED-ORANGE eyes.
Jang Semi was surprised to see the change in Hwang Frost's eye color.
As the sole X-Class Hunter in Korea, Hwang Frost was also the only citizen there who possessed bright red eyes.
But Hwang Frost's eye color had changed a bit.
[It's red-orange and not the color of blood.]
Civilians wouldn't be able to tell the difference not only because the change was subtle, but also because no ordinary person could look at Hwang Frost or stay within his presence for so long without fainting.
"Yool-ah!"
That was Graham who caught Gong Yool, Hee-ya's Civilian friend, who fainted just because he happened to be in the same room as Hwang Frost.
[And that's what I'm talking about.]
"Noona, I'm sorry, but I'm leaving," Graham, who was now carrying Gong Yool in his arms, said in a hurry. "But I will, at least, tell people here to evacuate the building."
Semi nodded. "Thank you, Graham-ah."
Graham then immediately bolted out of the room with the Civilian.
"Semi-ssi, we'll also go ahead," Ryung Dae, the famous chef, said in a hurry while tugging at the sleeves of Do Ahyeon. "Our guild will make an announcement and warn the Civilians within the premises."
"Thank you, Chef."
"M-Madam, I'll be waiting for your message," Do Ahyeon said shyly. "P-Please be safe!"
And then the four disappeared almost at the same time.
Now only Semi, Hwang Frost, and Kwon Jiwoong were left in the room.
"Semi Noona, I want you to know that I'm only being patient with you because you're Chu Wonhee's unnie," Hwang Frost said, his expression and voice both showed boredom. "I may be sober now, but I'm starting to hear the Static in my head again."
That was never a good thing to hear from a powerful Hunter.
But…
"You're sober. The last time I saw you was the day you went berserk and almost killed everyone around you," Semi said. "The fact that we're having a normal conversation amazes me."
"You have your baby sister to thank for bringing back a bit of my sanity," Hwang Frost said, combing his bangs with his fingers. His fringe had grown long from neglect, and it seemed like the hair sticking to his face was starting to irritate him. "Noona, Chu Wonhee accomplished a feat that none of the A-Class Hunters in the world could accomplish– she Guided me successfully."
"So, you want my baby sister to be your exclusive Guide?"
"It's my right as an S-Class Hunter to have my exclusive Guide."
"You already lost your privilege as an S-Class Hunter."
"I can gain it back easily."
"Then let's talk once you regain your title," Semi said firmly. "Plus, having an exclusive Guide is only allowed if the Hunter has at least 90% matching rate with their chosen Guide. Do you know how rare that occurrence is? In South Korea, there's only one pair who has reached the 90% mark yet."
"Chu Wonhee and I will be the second pair then."
"You crazy bastard–"
"Only APA has the right to approve whether a Hunter gets to have their exclusive Guide."
It was Kwon Jiwoong.
The bastard APA President really had the audacity to interrupt Semi when she was talking.
"Moreover, Chu Wonhee is being suspected of taking drugs for Forced Awakening," Kwon Jiwoong said. It was obvious that the APA President was just acting brave. If one looked closely, then they would see that he was shaking. "I'm sorry to say this, but Chu Wonhee still needs to be investigated–"
Hwang Frost stomped his feet on the ground, causing the entire room to be covered in ice in an instant.
If Semi didn't levitate in time, then she would have been frozen as well.
However, Kwon Jiwoong was slow.
The APA President couldn't even jump and was frozen along the entire room.
"You have fifteen minutes to thaw him out, Witch Noona," Hwang Frost said, laughing. "Civilians would die within five minutes, so make sure the area is clear."
"Crazy bastard," Semi said while literally lifting Kwon Jiwoong whose body had turned into a block of ice. She wanted Kwon Jiwoong to pay for what he did, but she needed him alive for now. "You're not going to see my baby sister again, Hwang Frost."
"If you don't want Korea to freeze, then you better bring Chu Wonhee to me while I'm still asking nicely."

[IT'S COLD…]
Wonhee groaned, then she pulled the thick and warm blanket closer to her body.
Even so, nothing had changed.
"I'm freezing," Wonhee complained. "The heater…"
Wait.
Was this the right time to worry about that?
She opened her eyes and got up abruptly.
As expected, she wasn't in her room. She wasn't even in her own penthouse. But she recognized the place she was in, so she didn't panic.
[This is Soobin Oppa's ancestral house.]
And she was in the bedroom that she used when she lived with them for a short while.
[But I don't remember this room getting this cold.]
Whenever it was summer, the room was always made cool for her.
Whenever it was winter, the room was always made warm for her, so she was surprised to wake up feeling cold.
[Wait, isn't it supposed to be summer right now?]
Fortunately, a pair of fuzzy slippers was on the floor.
Wonhee wore that while wrapping herself with the blanket, then she stood up and walked towards the window…
… only to be shocked by what greeted her.
It was snowing outside.
The tall skyscrapers and the other establishments around were all covered in ice.
[No wonder it's freezing here….]
"But what happened?" Wonhee whispered to herself in disbelief. "Why is it snowing in the middle of summer?"
