Chapter 25: Cure
It was an ordinary day for the silver-haired elf, a time when she rested her mind and body after a long, exhausting day of duties.
Her beautiful silver eyes and hair were a mark of her status, signifying her royal lineage.
Speaking of duties—She was always learning the way of magic for 60 years straight.
After being taught about noble etiquette, governance, etc. To be able to go outside her kingdom when she is worthy enough. Elves like her are mercilessly trained.
Especially since she is a princess who will soon represent the elves—A model for elves.
"𝕳𝖆𝖍! 𝕱𝖎𝖓𝖆𝖑𝖑𝖞, 𝕴 𝖈𝖆𝖓 𝖓𝖔𝖜 𝖗𝖊𝖘𝖙!"
The silver-haired elf uttered, her hands raised to the sky.
Behind her, the deep voice of a man can be heard chuckling.
"𝕯𝖔 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖍𝖆𝖙𝖊 𝖘𝖙𝖚𝖉𝖞𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖙𝖍𝖆𝖙 𝖒𝖚𝖈𝖍?"
Turning her head behind, "Father" she whispered with pout. The man's appearance resembled her silver eyes and hair.
"𝕾𝖞𝖑𝖛𝖎𝖆, 𝖉𝖔𝖓'𝖙 𝖜𝖔𝖗𝖗𝖞. 𝕿𝖜𝖔 𝖞𝖊𝖆𝖗𝖘 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖆 𝖍𝖆𝖑𝖋 𝖒𝖔𝖗𝖊 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖈𝖆𝖓 𝖋𝖎𝖓𝖆𝖑𝖑𝖞 𝖌𝖔 𝖔𝖚𝖙𝖘𝖎𝖉𝖊 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖊𝖓𝖙𝖊𝖗 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖆𝖈𝖆𝖉𝖊𝖒𝖞"
"𝕬𝖚𝖌𝖍! 𝕭𝖚𝖙 𝖕𝖆 𝕴'𝖒 𝖆𝖑𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖉𝖞 𝖔𝖑𝖉 𝖊𝖓𝖔𝖚𝖌𝖍"
Snorted Sylvia.
"𝕹𝖔, 𝖞𝖔𝖚'𝖗𝖊 𝖘𝖙𝖎𝖑𝖑 𝖙𝖔𝖔 𝖞𝖔𝖚𝖓𝖌" The father quickly denied.
"𝕿𝖍𝖊𝖓 𝖜𝖍𝖞 𝖈𝖔𝖚𝖑𝖉 𝖍𝖚𝖒𝖆𝖓𝖘 𝖊𝖆𝖘𝖎𝖑𝖞 𝖌𝖔 𝖙𝖔 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖆𝖈𝖆𝖉𝖊𝖒𝖞 𝖜𝖍𝖊𝖓 𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖞 𝖆𝖗𝖊 𝖘𝖙𝖎𝖑𝖑 𝖏𝖚𝖘𝖙 𝖋𝖎𝖋𝖙𝖊𝖊𝖓" Pouted the silver head girl.
"𝕿𝖍𝖆𝖙'𝖘 𝖇𝖊𝖈𝖆𝖚𝖘𝖊 𝖍𝖚𝖒𝖆𝖓𝖘 𝖍𝖆𝖛𝖊 𝖘𝖍𝖔𝖗𝖙𝖊𝖗 𝖑𝖎𝖋𝖊𝖘𝖕𝖆𝖓𝖘 𝖙𝖍𝖆𝖓 𝖚𝖘 𝕾𝖞𝖑𝖛𝖎𝖆. 𝕴𝖋 𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖞 𝖉𝖔𝖓'𝖙 𝖆𝖘𝖈𝖊𝖓𝖉 𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖎𝖗 𝖗𝖆𝖓𝖐𝖘, 𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖞 𝖉𝖎𝖊 𝖜𝖎𝖙𝖍𝖎𝖓 𝖏𝖚𝖘𝖙 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖘𝖕𝖆𝖓 𝖔𝖋 70 𝖞𝖊𝖆𝖗𝖘 𝖔𝖗 𝖒𝖔𝖗𝖊 𝖎𝖋 𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖞 𝖆𝖗𝖊 𝖑𝖚𝖈𝖐𝖞"
However, the little girl only disregarded her father's words.
"𝕿𝖍𝖊𝖓 𝖜𝖍𝖆𝖙 𝖉𝖔𝖊𝖘 𝖙𝖍𝖆𝖙 𝖍𝖆𝖛𝖊 𝖙𝖔 𝖉𝖔 𝖜𝖎𝖙𝖍 𝖒𝖊 𝖇𝖊𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖑𝖆𝖙𝖊 𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖓? 𝕴𝖋 𝖜𝖊 𝖍𝖆𝖛𝖊 𝖑𝖔𝖓𝖌𝖊𝖗 𝖑𝖎𝖋𝖊𝖘𝖕𝖆𝖓𝖘, 𝖎𝖘𝖓'𝖙 𝖙𝖍𝖆𝖙 𝖊𝖓𝖔𝖚𝖌𝖍 𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖘𝖔𝖓 𝖋𝖔𝖗 𝖒𝖊 𝖙𝖔 𝖌𝖔 𝖔𝖚𝖙𝖘𝖎𝖉𝖊 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖑𝖊𝖆𝖗𝖓 𝖒𝖔𝖗𝖊 𝖆𝖇𝖔𝖚𝖙 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖔𝖚𝖙𝖘𝖎𝖉𝖊 𝖜𝖔𝖗𝖑𝖉?"
As she enquired of such, she was met with silence.
Only after a deep contemplation did her father find his words.
"𝕯𝖔 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖐𝖓𝖔𝖜 𝖜𝖍𝖞 𝖜𝖊 𝖙𝖊𝖆𝖈𝖍 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖓𝖔𝖓𝖘𝖙𝖔𝖕 𝖆𝖇𝖔𝖚𝖙 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖜𝖆𝖞𝖘 𝖔𝖋 𝖒𝖆𝖌𝖎𝖈?"
Gazing into his daughter's eyes, he continued.
"𝕾𝖞𝖑𝖛𝖎𝖆... 𝕰𝖝𝖈𝖊𝖑𝖑𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖎𝖓 𝖒𝖆𝖌𝖎𝖈 𝖎𝖘 𝖓𝖔𝖙 𝖏𝖚𝖘𝖙 𝖆 𝖗𝖊𝖛𝖊𝖗𝖊𝖉 𝖊𝖑𝖛𝖊𝖓 𝖘𝖐𝖎𝖑𝖑 𝖙𝖍𝖆𝖙 𝖚𝖕𝖍𝖔𝖑𝖉𝖘 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖍𝖎𝖌𝖍 𝖘𝖙𝖆𝖓𝖉𝖆𝖗𝖉𝖘 𝖔𝖋 𝖞𝖔𝖚𝖗 𝖑𝖎𝖓𝖊𝖆𝖌𝖊 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖘𝖊𝖙𝖘 𝖆𝖓 𝖊𝖝𝖆𝖒𝖕𝖑𝖊. 𝕴𝖙 𝖎𝖘 𝖆𝖑𝖘𝖔 𝖊𝖘𝖘𝖊𝖓𝖙𝖎𝖆𝖑 𝖋𝖔𝖗 𝖞𝖔𝖚𝖗 𝖕𝖗𝖔𝖙𝖊𝖈𝖙𝖎𝖔𝖓 𝖜𝖍𝖊𝖓 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖊𝖛𝖊𝖓𝖙𝖚𝖆𝖑𝖑𝖞 𝖛𝖊𝖓𝖙𝖚𝖗𝖊 𝖔𝖚𝖙𝖘𝖎𝖉𝖊 𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖔 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖉𝖆𝖓𝖌𝖊𝖗𝖘 𝖚𝖓𝖐𝖓𝖔𝖜𝖓. 𝖂𝖊 𝖆𝖗𝖊 𝖏𝖚𝖘𝖙 𝖕𝖗𝖊𝖕𝖆𝖗𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖞𝖔𝖚."
His warning which Sylvia had already heard a thousand times came out of her ears.
"𝕴 𝖐𝖓𝖔𝖜, 𝖓𝖔 𝖓𝖊𝖊𝖉 𝖙𝖔 𝖗𝖊𝖒𝖎𝖓𝖉 𝖒𝖊~"
Sylvia shook her head.
Elves might have longer lifespans than humans but their bodies are slow to age also. That's why, Sylvia despite being at the age of 72 her appearance was still that of a teenager.
‹ 𝖄𝖔𝖚'𝖑𝖑 𝖚𝖓𝖉𝖊𝖗𝖘𝖙𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖒𝖞 𝖜𝖔𝖗𝖉𝖘 𝖔𝖓𝖈𝖊 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖊𝖝𝖕𝖊𝖗𝖎𝖊𝖓𝖈𝖊 𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖒… › The father quietly thought to himself when he noticed that his cute little daughter was not listening to him.
‹ 𝕴 𝖍𝖔𝖕𝖊 𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖓 𝖙𝖍𝖆𝖙 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖐𝖓𝖔𝖜𝖑𝖊𝖉𝖌𝖊 𝖜𝖊 𝖕𝖆𝖘𝖘𝖊𝖉 𝖔𝖓 𝖙𝖔 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖜𝖎𝖑𝖑 𝖇𝖊 𝖔𝖋 𝖚𝖘𝖊. ›
Though he was deeply concerned for his daughter, he understood that confining her here would only provoke rebellion. Thus, he resolved to do all he could to prepare her.
After a moment of banter between the daughter and father, Sylvia finally waved bye at his father.
"𝕴'𝖑𝖑 𝖇𝖊 𝖌𝖔𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖓𝖔𝖜 𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖓 𝕻𝖆,"
Beside her way was an elf clad in armor. With a nod from the father, Sylvia and her knight escort went on their way.
"—𝕸𝖞 𝖉𝖆𝖚𝖌𝖍𝖙𝖊𝖗 𝖍𝖆𝖘 𝖌𝖗𝖔𝖜𝖓 𝖚𝖕"
Suddenly the voice of a woman echoed beside the father.
"𝕳𝖒? 𝖂𝖍𝖆𝖙'𝖘 𝖜𝖎𝖙𝖍 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖘𝖚𝖉𝖉𝖊𝖓 𝖆𝖗𝖗𝖎𝖛𝖆𝖑? 𝕬𝖗𝖊𝖓'𝖙 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖌𝖔𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖙𝖔 𝖆𝖑𝖘𝖔 𝖘𝖆𝖞 𝖌𝖔𝖔𝖉𝖇𝖞𝖊 𝖙𝖔 𝖔𝖚𝖗 𝖉𝖆𝖚𝖌𝖍𝖙𝖊𝖗?"
Looking at the beauty behind him, the woman's appearance had the same beauty as Sylvia's but exuded a much more mature presence. To be precise it looked like they were twins but just taller, looked older, and had bigger boobs and ass.
Such meat was bouncing even from her little movement.
"𝕯𝖔 𝖓𝖔𝖙 𝖘𝖕𝖊𝖆𝖐 𝖙𝖔 𝖒𝖊 𝖆𝖘 𝖎𝖋 𝖜𝖊 𝖘𝖍𝖆𝖗𝖊 𝖆𝖓𝖞 𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖎𝖒𝖆𝖈𝖞. 𝕴 𝖍𝖆𝖛𝖊 𝖓𝖔 𝖉𝖊𝖘𝖎𝖗𝖊 𝖙𝖔 𝖕𝖗𝖊𝖙𝖊𝖓𝖉 𝖜𝖊 𝖈𝖆𝖗𝖊 𝖋𝖔𝖗 𝖔𝖓𝖊 𝖆𝖓𝖔𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖗 𝖙𝖔𝖉𝖆𝖞."
The woman scoffed at the man, her eyes as fierce as her words.
"…"
The man couldn't refute and just stayed silent while he pathetically looked down at the ground.
"𝕬𝖗𝖊 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖉𝖔𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖆 𝖌𝖔𝖔𝖉 𝖏𝖔𝖇 𝖎𝖓 𝖓𝖚𝖗𝖙𝖚𝖗𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖍𝖊𝖗?"
"𝖄𝖊𝖘, 𝖒𝖆𝖉𝖆𝖒…" The man replied weakly, nervously swallowing.
"𝕿𝖍𝖊𝖓 𝖜𝖍𝖞 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖋𝖚𝖈𝖐 𝖎𝖘 𝖘𝖍𝖊 𝖈𝖔𝖑𝖑𝖊𝖈𝖙𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖋𝖑𝖔𝖜𝖊𝖗 𝖔𝖋 𝖑𝖎𝖋𝖊 𝖑𝖆𝖙𝖊𝖑𝖞?"
The woman lashed out grinding her teeth.
If looks could kill, he could have died a thousand times already.
"𝕴-𝕴'𝖒… 𝖘𝖔𝖗𝖗𝖞 𝖋𝖔𝖗 𝖒𝖞 𝖎𝖓𝖈𝖔𝖒𝖕𝖊𝖙𝖊𝖓𝖈𝖊!"
The man quickly bowed his head. Only to be slapped on his face.
"𝕱𝖚𝖈𝖐𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖚𝖘𝖊𝖑𝖊𝖘𝖘 𝖕𝖎𝖊𝖈𝖊 𝖔𝖋 𝖘𝖍𝖎𝖙!"
The man lost his balance as the woman then continued kicking him.
"𝕿𝖘𝖐! 𝕴'𝖑𝖑 𝖑𝖊𝖙 𝖎𝖙 𝖘𝖑𝖎𝖉𝖊 𝖙𝖍𝖎𝖘 𝖙𝖎𝖒𝖊 𝖘𝖎𝖓𝖈𝖊 𝖘𝖍𝖊 𝖎𝖘 𝖆𝖙 𝖙𝖍𝖆𝖙 𝖆𝖌𝖊 𝖆𝖓𝖞𝖜𝖆𝖞. 𝕭𝖚𝖙 𝖎𝖋 𝖘𝖍𝖊 𝖌𝖊𝖙𝖘 𝖙𝖔𝖔 𝖆𝖉𝖉𝖎𝖈𝖙𝖊𝖉, 𝕴'𝖑𝖑 𝖘𝖑𝖆𝖕 𝖍𝖊𝖗 𝖇𝖆𝖈𝖐 𝖔𝖚𝖙 𝖔𝖋 𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖑𝖎𝖙𝖞… 𝕹𝖔, 𝕴 𝖒𝖎𝖌𝖍𝖙 𝖉𝖔 𝖘𝖔 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖒𝖔𝖒𝖊𝖓𝖙 𝖘𝖍𝖊 𝖗𝖊𝖙𝖚𝖗𝖓𝖘 𝖋𝖗𝖔𝖒 𝖎𝖓𝖉𝖚𝖑𝖌𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖎𝖓 𝖍𝖊𝖗 𝖑𝖎𝖙𝖙𝖑𝖊 𝖍𝖆𝖛𝖊𝖓."
The female elf mumbled as she stopped kicking the man.
Touching her chin, she kept her silence for a while.
The man then just quietly stayed still, praying for the woman's furry to pass by and at the same time worried about what she'd do to Sylvia.
"𝕺𝖓𝖈𝖊 𝖘𝖍𝖊 𝖌𝖔𝖊𝖘 𝖍𝖔𝖒𝖊 𝖎𝖒𝖒𝖊𝖉𝖎𝖆𝖙𝖊𝖑𝖞 𝖙𝖊𝖑𝖑 𝖍𝖊𝖗 𝖙𝖍𝖆𝖙 𝕴'𝖒 𝖑𝖔𝖔𝖐𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖋𝖔𝖗 𝖍𝖊𝖗." Finally, the woman spoke.
"𝖄𝖊𝖘 𝖒𝖞 𝕼𝖚𝖊𝖊𝖓," The man abruptly stood as he bowed. Yet the woman only disregarded him, her gaze exuding irritation.
"𝕿𝖘𝖐! 𝕳𝖔𝖜 𝖉𝖎𝖉 𝕴 𝖊𝖓𝖉 𝖚𝖕 𝖜𝖎𝖙𝖍 𝖆 𝖍𝖚𝖘𝖇𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖆𝖘 𝖜𝖔𝖗𝖙𝖍𝖑𝖊𝖘𝖘 𝖆𝖘 𝖞𝖔𝖚?"
She spoke before she walked away.

On a balcony, an elf sat cross-legged on a long wooden seat, resembling a sofa, though its soft covering was made of leaves and cotton.
She was none other than the elf princess of the elven kingdom, distinguished by her silver hair and eyes, traits unique to the royal lineage.
A huge grin spread across Sylvia's lips.
As she took a sip of her tea, a wave of euphoria washed over her.
Her restless mind, burdened with the duties of royalty, was instantly cleared.
The herb she had steeped in her tea was called the Flower of Life. It was a rare herb, even in their own land, known for its dual properties of healing and inducing euphoria.
The effects of this herb lasted about 10 to 15 minutes, so it was no wonder if Sylvia remained still in her seat for the duration.
However, even in this state, it doesn't mean she becomes incapacitated. It merely calms her mind. If she wanted to, she could easily purge the drug's effects from her body using her mana. She would be an incompetent mage if she couldn't manage such a simple task.
Though the drug is addictive, Sylvia knows her limits and rarely uses it, as excessive use would require higher dosages over time to achieve the same effect.
She only resorts to this when she's had an exceptionally tough day or week.
As she enjoyed the effects of the drugs, behind her was her knight standing near the exit. It would be more accurate to say that her knight was guarding the entrance.
While she was in the midst of her ecstasy, suddenly, they both heard footsteps outside.
Confused as to how anyone could reach their floor, Sylvia quickly used her mana to dispel the drug's effect and check who had arrived.
The place they currently inhabited was not easily accessible unless the person had a connection with the owner, was a VIP, or possessed a high enough status to force their way inside.
As they were about to peek through the hole, they heard the voice of the owner of their current location—"𝕺𝖍... 𝕴𝖙𝖘 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖆𝖌𝖆𝖎𝖓... '𝕳𝖆𝖑𝖋 𝕰𝖑𝖋' 𝖆𝖓𝖉... 𝕳𝖚𝖒𝖆𝖓𝖘?"
Hearing the word human in their language, their interest only grew louder.
Slowly, they exited from their room to get a clearer view of the people who just went in.
To Sylvia's surprise, she caught a glimpse of the human boy's profile, and only two words came to mind—beautiful and handsome.
She double-checked the boy's ears to see if he might be an elf she hadn't heard of in her kingdom, but what she saw were short ears, confirming he was indeed human.
"I need the flower of life"
However, admiration soon came to a halt when she heard they were suddenly talking about buying the flower of life.
Since she has bought every flower of life that this place has to offer, what they were looking for was obviously gone.
A huge grin then slowly formed on Sylvia's lips when an idea came to her head.
