Dai Shuo looked away from her and before he could say anything, he heard his sister saying "Are you here to cause him more hurt? Just go away Tao Luqi, go be with Fu Mingze."

"Dai Qiao, that's enough. I would like to have a word with Luqi alone." Dai Shuo suddenly said, finally turning his gaze to Tao Luqi.

Dai Qiao wanted to argue but decided against it. She carried her purse and left the room.

"How are you feeling?" Tao Luqi asked as she walked closer to him.

"My heart hurts more than my body." Dai Shuo replied.
