Chapter 20: Skunk 1 vs Ben
Ben and everyone saw the power of the King Cannon. The ship was destroyed. Luckily the ship was not the Miss Love Duck nor was there anyone on board it. Ben knew that Bear King would be expecting him so he needed a decoy to sneak around and assault him directly. Being a devil fruit user means the sea is his natural weakness. His other two crew members are also devil fruit users so the sea is very dangerous to them
"Looks like our plan worked," Ben says.
Alvida and Honey Queen nod. Akisu was trying to get the attention of his onee-chan.
"Yes but our ship," replied Borodo.
"We can give you some of the rewards to get you a new ship," Ben replied.
"Let's go," Borodo said.
As they approached the bottom of the island. They could see several ships and men on the shore.
"I thought it would have been quieter," Alvida says.
"They must have tried to see if they could get our bodies for the bounty reward," Honey Queen added.
"Careful, I can see Skunk 1 on the beach," Honey Queen added.
The ship approached closer to the beach.
"Well, they know we are here, so let's go loud. This was never a stealth mission," Ben says.
"I'll go and beat Skunk 1," Ben added. He didn't want to put his girls in any necessary danger. They were strong but seeing Alvida hurt made him a bit cautious.
Ben transformed into his hybrid form and jumped onto the shore. He fired his Demon Beam immediately and destroyed 2 ships.
"What was that gas?" Skunk 1 said.
"We are under attack sir" said a random pirate with the number 10 on his shirt.
"Attack gas?" Skunk 1 said in a confused manner.
Suddenly a sharp claw seemingly out of nowhere tried to strike his chest. Skunk 1 activated his jet pack, narrowly avoiding his attack. Ben ended up caught in the gas of the jet pack. The gas has some paralysis effect.
"That was close, you fool. You are caught in my Devil Gas," Skunk 1 says.
Skunk 1 propels himself using his Devil Gas towards Ben and punches him. Ben smiles.
Skunk 1 panics, and he jumpes back.
"You think this is funny gas," Skunk 1 says.
He activates his gas and flies up and then comes down with the bottom of his jet pack facing towards Ben. His plan was to explode his gas all over Ben from the top and paraylse for sure.
Ben half expected him to fly up and come down. The paraylse was pretty weak so he was able to break free. He then puts his hand in the air and says "Demon Beam." He Beam hits Skunk 1, causing a mini explosion, instantly knocking him out.
As he was flying down, Alvida comes from seemingly nowhere and clubs him with her iron mace. He goes flying towards the island and hits a bunch of rocks.
"That was overkill, Alvida," says Ben.
"I didn't like him spraying that nasty stuff all over you, my love," she replies.
"Oh well," he said. A random pirate with the number 7 on his shirt tried to strike him. Ben dodged and punched him in the gut, knocking him out. He fired his Demon Beam at two other ships, destroying them.
"Want more?" he says threateningly.
The men saw his black wings, black tails and sharp claws and his red eyes with no pupils and ran. Some jumped into the sea and started to swim away.
The Miss Love Duck sailed next to them. They jumped on their ship.
"You are strong onee-chan," Akisu said.
Honey was surprised at how easily Skunk 1 was taken out. They are strong, she thought.
"Lets dock ahead," Ben said.
As the ship docked, Ben asked Akisu and Borodo to guard the ship. He needed to be sure that the ship would not be further damaged from enemy attacks. He knows that the only real fighters left were Bear King and Pin Joker. The rest were fodder which Borodo can take care of.
"Borodo, Akisu, protect the ship. Alvida and Honey with me. We are going to take down Bear King," he orders.
"Why do I need to stay here," Akisu pouted.
"Please Akisu-chan, seeing the ship hurt makes me sad" Alvida says in a cute sisterly voice.
"Sure onee-chan, I will protect this ship at all cost," Akisu replies proudly.
Ben, Alvida and Honey Queen disembark from the Miss Love Duck and start walking toward the island and make their journey upwards.
