Capítulo 8: chapter 8 : Rescue
A week and 4 days passed with Jacob in Seattle where the young wolf had fun with the money confiscated from drug dealers. Nightclubs and other entertainment venues welcomed him and our Casanova had already had his first sexual experiences with four different women which allowed him to realize that Bella was in fact just a fish in the ocean even though he loved her before.
At this moment he was in bed with a completely exhausted and naked girl who was sleeping with her head on his chest, he had ruined this girl copiously for a good part of the night to the great joy of the latter who swore that it was certainly the best shot of his entire life.
Later the girl begged Jacob to give her his number before leaving, her name was Danielle, she was a beautiful brunette with green eyes very athletic and really wanted her and Jacob to see each other again just like the other three girls Besides.
Over the next five days Danielle and Jacob met three times to go out and had sex several times, she didn't even know how old he was but it got to the point where she fell in love with him.
However, Jacob had to return to the reserve and when he told her about it, the girl felt lightning strike her, Jacob told her his age and she trembled knowing that he was three years her junior but didn't say anything, it didn't even really bother her since she loved him.
On their last date, she asked him if she could come see him and he agreed, Danielle was a nice, simple girl, Jacob liked her a lot and she had native blood on her father's side even if she didn't knew nothing of its traditions.
Jacob did a couple more things before leaving town to return to the reservation where his father was happy to find him. He told him a few lies but also that he spent a few days in Seattle out of curiosity.
He told his father that city life definitely did not appeal to him and that he was better off on the reservation and his father, although surprised, was happy with the result of his son's expérimenté.
Their people were weakened by young people more and more attracted to the city but he was happy that Jacob wanted to stay with his family.
Billy told his son that Bella had called several times to check on him but due to his absence, she had come four times to see if he was there but to no avail.
Jacob sent her a message to tell her he was back and an hour later she arrived in her vehicle with a tarpaulin on the back.
"Can you at least tell me where you were and why I haven't heard from you?" » She said walking towards him after getting out of the vehicle.
Jacob: Hello Bella, you seem to be feeling better.
Bella: Don't avoid the subject.
Jacob: I just had things to do Bella, nothing important and my phone had some issues. How is Charlie?
"He's fine" She replied dryly.
Jacob: Stop, I'm back, right? Why are you looking for me anyway, do you need me for something?
Bella: Jacob, you're...distant, I miss talking with you and seeing you.
Jacob: You were also distant when Edward was around but I didn't make a problem of it because we are friends after all. Well, let's avoid sensitive topics. What do you have in your car?!
"I have a present for you...well, it's more so that you can teach me how to ride a motorcycle like you..." she said before lifting the tarpaulin where there were two motorcycle wrecks.
Jacob: Bella how did you known?! I always wanted to have two piles of junk all to myself.
Bella: Go ahead, laugh.
Jacob: Besides, why do you want to ride a motorcycle? You already have a car.
Bella: Yes, but that way we can do something together.
"Good idea" Jacob said before getting both motorcycles down without any problem.
Bella: I'll never get used to seeing you do that, Jacob, you're strong like...like an ox!
Jacob laughed at that and took the bikes to his workshop with Bella following him. Jacob's workshop had changed a lot and had several pieces of equipment or parts for motorcycles.
Bella: Things have changed here.
"It's because I love what I do." He said before starting to take apart the first motorcycle with Bella just sitting there watching him.
Jacob: Are you still having nightmares?
Bella: A little, dad helps me.
Jacob: You miss him that much, huh?
She lowered her head before nodding.
Jacob: Well, we'll do something. (hands him a key) Take this and you'll take the second bike apart with me.
Bella: What?! But I don't even know how to do it.
Jacob: You think I don't know? You are going to do exactly what I am doing and I am going to guide you, it will help you to know a little about the mechanics and believe me at the end of this experience you will say thank you.
She sighed before taking the key to begin work with herself though they only made very little progress because of Bella. They stopped at one point for Bella to go home and continued the next day.
Day after day the two moved forward, laughed and worked together, Jacob received visits from his friends from the reserve and he introduced them to Bella.
Once the disassembly was complete and Bella was satisfied, he taught her how to clean the parts that were still usable and how to recognize those that could no longer be used.
The reconstruction of the two motorcycles had begun and just like taking it apart, she followed Jacob to assemble the parts of his motorcycle with the supervision of Jacob himself who had brought other parts to replace the ones they threw away.
After almost three weeks of work, Jacob and Bella were both in front of their motorcycles and Bella had a happy smile on her face, she felt like she had completed and built something thanks to Jacob with whom she became closer any further.
Besides, they almost kissed once but she pulled back at the last moment, Jacob had not asked for anything because it was Bella who had moved closer to him to hug him and try to kiss him before the memory of Edward comes back to haunt his mind. They hadn't spoken about it since.
Bella smiling in front of her bike sincerely thanked him, Bella for some reason wanted to try them now but Jacob told her that it was better to do it tomorrow because it was getting dark and he had to teach her to first stand on a motorcycle little by little, Bella insisted but he remained relentless so even though she was disappointed, she still went home.
The problem was that like in the movie, Bella saw projections of Edward every time she wanted to do something dangerous and it obsessed her desperately.
Although her feelings for Jacob grew even more, the reason she wanted to ride a motorcycle was because it was very dangerous and therefore she could still have Edward by her side thanks to his projections, it had become like a drug for this idiot.
Frustrated on the way home, as she was driving she wanted to get her daily dose of Edward's vision so she started driving faster and faster ignoring everything else to the point where she passed her house.
While further away she saw her Illusions of Edward warning her of danger, something hit her car from the right and caused her to leave the road and spit into the woods.
Bella had passed out and was woken up by something that literally ripped her door off and threw her out and onto the ground.
When she woke up, she felt pain in her side because she broke a rib but nothing serious because other than that, she was completely unharmed.
She looked at her damaged car and wondered what had happened when two voices called out to her.
"Bella, Bella, Bella you are truly exceptional to come out like this after such an accident. » Laurent the vampire said, crouching down next to her while looking at her greedily.
"It's more than perfect for me, if she had been killed by that accident then I wouldn't have had the satisfaction of revenge for what the Cullens did to James." » Victoria said before grabbing Bella's hand and slamming her into a tree.
Bella: Laurent...Victoria...if you kill me Alice will see it and the Cullens will hunt you down...don't do that...
Laurent: You see, I doubt it, I've been observing you for weeks and I know that the Cullens abandoned you here without any defense and since then, none of them has returned.
Victoria: I'm going to tear you apart like they did James.
As she was about to start by ripping off Bella's arm, blood began to flow from Bella's forehead because she hit her head during the accident. Completely captivated by Bella's delicious blood, Laurent and Victoria's red eyes turned completely black as it starved them.
Immediately, Laurent bit Bella's arm to drink her blood and Victoria attacked her neck.
Suddenly, when they had just bitten, a hand grabbed the back of Victoria's neck to throw her far back about 30 meters away where on her way she destroyed several trees before falling violently onto the ground and when she got up with Bella's blood on her mouth, she saw Jacob who was attacking Laurent.
To gain speed, Jacob had come in his human appearance but he was strong enough to handle Laurent completely overwhelmed and confused about his opponent, he looked at Jacob's purple eyes and terror invaded him for some unknown reason, he tried to fight back when with a single swipe of his claw, Jacob decapitated him.
Victoria saw this in horror and while she initially wanted to help Laurent, she turned around to flee in the opposite direction.
Jacob started chasing her before stopping due to Bella's cries of pain behind him. He watched Victoria run before also seeing Sam and his pack running after her, it seemed like they had smelled her.
As Bella screamed in agony from the vampire venom inside her, he activated his beast eyes and saw white venom spreading down Bella's arm and neck. Without even hesitating, he started to suck the blood with his own mouth first on the neck and it worked despite all the blood that had to be extracted with the venom, he then did the same with the arm until until Bella returns to a stable state.
Jacob immediately took Bella away and luckily she had lost enough blood to just tire her out.
"Jacob..."Bella whispered into his arms and he reassured her that she was no longer in any danger.
Bella: Laurent...Victoria...you fought them. How…how is that possible?
Jacob: How is that possible?! I hope you asked Edward the same question when you found out he was a vampire.
Bella: I...I don't know what you're talking about.
Jacob: DON'T TAKE ME FOR AN IDIOT ! You take everyone for idiots but I've known about all of this for a while now. Bella, you almost got killed earlier.
Bella: He's gone, they left me here. What still matters?

She didn't say anything more and he continued to carry her towards the nearest hospital and once he got there he called Charlie to tell him that Bella had been in a car accident while dodging a deer. on the road. Fortunately, thanks to Jacob's saliva, his bite marks had closed and nothing serious happened to her. Even the fracture in her rib was not complete and did not pose a danger as long as she did not make any sudden movements to the side. They kept her under observation and treated her to release her the next day.
