PRINCE ULYSSES’S POV 

Prince Kloud was the most brutal and boorish man I had ever met. He bowed to Queen Marama, and we were all forced to bow.

Why?

So that she can accept the royal edict.

I bowed and watched how Armand held back his laughter while Randale's smirk was evident. The arrival of the army made things sweeter as Prince Marrok, Ulfang, and Lowe walked over and stood in shock, and questioned what we were doing.

“My prince, what is going on?” Ulfang was the first to speak and address Prince Kloud. 

Prince Kloud raised his head. “I deliver the royal edict to Her Majesty Queen Marama.” Armand, Randale, and Lowe followed suit and stopped bowing.

“What edict?” Ulfang pressed, and Prince Marrok feigned ignorance but I could tell that he knew about it by the way his mouth spread into a thin line. The military team surrounded us on each side, blocking both sides from any attack.
