"Wait here," John said and before Zara could protest, he enveloped himself in his Haze Veil.

Zara clicked her tongue, but the next thing she saw were the Luminars standing outside the base all dropping dead in a matter of seconds.

"Wow, impressive," Dalia remarked.

John waved his hand, dismissing the conversation as he hurried towards the entrance.

The others followed him and they entered the base, weapons drawn.

As they walked through the halls, they saw endless doors lined up, one after the other. Some were open, revealing small dark cells. The floors and walls were stained with blood, and there were empty cages along the walls. It was a horrific sight and Mikal could not stop a gasp of horror escaping his lips.
