They spent time in silence. After making the healing medicine, there wasn't much to do besides wait for his injuries to get better. Since she couldn't communicate with the wolf, she just patiently waited for the night to pass as the noise of blizzard stretched to all corners of the mountains, the cave wasn't an exception. 

Violet snuggled up to the warm beast's body as the temperature outside continued to drop. He smelled like wilderness, but it was a very pleasant scent, and his soft white fur was so comfortable to touch that she easily got lost in the feeling of fluffiness. It was the best cushion she had experienced, wondering why anyone would want to sleep on the bed if this was available all the time. 

Her tired body after two weeks of travelling in the carriage quickly gave up and she fell asleep as her hand caressed the beast's head in automatic motion.
