Nayr was stunned, not expecting his attack to hit the demoness so perfectly. After countless battles with her, this was the first time he'd managed to inflict such a serious wound. 

The fact that a seemingly random strike had caused such devastating damage left him confused, but the demoness seemed even more perplexed. That brief moment of disbelief made her drop her guard. And then, a small yet incredibly heavy hand slapped her. 

The blow landed on the opposite side of the earlier strike. While it didn't have much physical strength, a wave of mental energy invaded her body, instantly dismantling her defenses. She seemed no different from a mortal at that moment. 

The demoness detached from the spear and was flung violently to the ground. The previous injuries now seemed to multiply, leaving her in a critical state.
