She focused on forming the tattoos on her palms. Despite her body being the purest Yin of death, Yang still existed in her soul gem. With a little help from Bruno, she managed to create the Yang tattoo, although she couldn't use it in any way. The Yin tattoo, however, could be activated independently, accelerating her cultivation hundreds or thousands of times.

Alm transmitted knowledge of the cultivation realms and taught the modifications they made to use the technique directly on the soul gem. She didn't have the same level of understanding of the technique as they did, nor their Yin and Yang power. However, she could, in the future, forge a new path based on the modifications they made.
