Capítulo 26: Chaos in soul space

Kane was stunned, looking at both soul seeds. Right now, not only did both soul seeds rotate around their axis, but they also started moving in a big circle with both seeds at the end of the diameter of the circle.

The speed of the rotation became so high that two tornadoes formed around both seeds and these tornadoes were revolving in the circle while their size increased with each passing minute.

Drake asked, "What's going to happen here?"

Kane shook his head. "I don't know."

The size of both tornadoes kept increasing, and then both of them clashed with each other. The force of the crash was so strong that it sent the lake water splashing, destroying the whirlpools in the process. A massive sinkhole formed in the lake, above which both tornadoes kept clashing with each other.

Both Kane and Drake looked at each other and gulped down. Although they did not know what was going on here, they could feel something out of place here.

The craziest thing was the clash of both tornadoes. It was normal for their speed to decrease with each collision and sure their speed decreased a little, but due to the ever-increasing rotation of seeds, overall, these tornado speeds kept increasing.

The size of both clashing tornadoes kept on increasing.

They became so massive that every time both tornadoes clashed, a wave of lightning fell randomly anywhere in the lake.

At this moment, both Kane and Drake were at the center where the clash of the tornado was taking place. They lost vision beyond the tornadoes, only getting a glimpse when the tornado backed a little after each clash.

Below them was a massive sinkhole. They could see the lake water going down into the sinkhole that was just so deep that everything became very dark after some point.

Drake could see miles into this transparent sinkhole. He realized at this moment only the width, but even the depth and height of the soul space were also infinite.

He and Kane were just floating just above the sinkhole.

Kane pointed to the sky. "Look, the seeds are getting closer."

He looked at the center of both tornadoes. So far, the seeds were right in the middle vacuum of tornados. But weirdly, both seeds were now shifting to the edge of the tornado.

After a few more hits, both seeds reached the edge of the tornado. It was weird as the tornado formed because of the rotation of these seeds, but now the speed of the seeds was so fast that a desynchronization between seed and tornado formed.

Soon, the time came when both tornadoes started moving for the collision, but this time, both soul seeds were at the outermost layer of tornadoes. The time had come for the soul seeds to touch each other. Drake and Kane breathlessly stared as tornados kept moving for the collision.

Boom!

Everything became white for a moment, and the shockwave from the collision obliterated both tornadoes.

Drake felt a massive pain. He grabbed his chest and saw both soul seeds stop all the movement. The point of collision was the big black part of the soul seed, and weirdly the soul seed deformed and fused in a big oval shape where the center was black, while the outer side had different colors.

Ahhhhh Ahhhhh

Both Kane and Drake screamed suddenly. They looked at the big soul seed and saw how black smoke was coming out from the region where the other region connected to the black region.

This black smoke got reabsorbed back into the black region, making it darker. It's like the black region was consuming the other element to increase its power.

Ahhhh, ahhhhh.

Kane and Drake continued to wail. They felt a part of their soul was getting torn apart from them. After so much pain finally, only a big pure black circle remained.

Drake and Kane were helpless, lying on the lake, while clinging to their chests. The big soul seed started rotating slowly. They thought it finally ended, but they were completely wrong.

Something weird started again. The mana in the massive sky formed one massive pillar and pressed the soul seed, making the soul seed move toward the lake, but then a massive pillar of lake mana pressed the big seed from below.

Both layers of mana were increasing pressure on the soul seed, and the size of the soul seed continued to shrink down, and the color of it continued to become darker. Soon it became the size of the previous single soul seeds. At this time, the mana pillars that were pressing the seed were now getting absorbed by the seed.

The sky continued to shrink down, while the depth of the lake continued to decrease, and this time Kane and Drake were going down along with the lake water level.

Drake had his eyes opened while he was wiggling in intense pain. From the weird sixth sense, he could feel something going wrong with his body. He became slightly numb to the pain and started feeling very weak, wanting to close his eyes. He closed his left eye, and slowly the right eye was drooping down.

Something hit his face. This made him open his eyes a little, and he saw Kane sitting at his side. He saw Kane's hand coming toward his face, which made him instinctively grab Kane's hand. He was in no condition to speak, so he just stared at him with red eyes.

Two words came from Kane's mouth: "Sleep. Dead."

This sent shivers through him. A current ran throughout his soul consciousness. All the dull sensations stopped, and he started feeling high heat. It started with a burning sensation and the feeling escalated as he felt everything in his body was melting.

He desperately rolled, trying not to lose himself in this pain. 'What going on? Why is it always me? What did I do to deserve all that? I am tired. I don't want to feel more pain. Let's leave all this. No, I want to live. But why? What is so great about living? I don't know. See, it's better if I just give up everything. No, I can't…' His thoughts were in chaos.

One side of him wanted to rest giving many self-made logic while the other simple stubborn side was struggling to live. A war of thoughts was going on inside his head.

Kane, on the other hand, also had the sensation of the body, though he did not feel heat but a massive energy inside the body. The energy was so much that he wanted his body to burst out and release the pressure, but he was doing his best to not lose to the pressure.

Aahhh, he screamed as he willed the body to contain all the energy inside, and chaotic thoughts also started assaulting him.

At this moment, both of them were doing their best to not lose to the pain, as they could feel the moment they gave up would be their last moment.
