Capítulo 6: Auditorium

"Wait a minute, is he being serious? He wasn't intervening to help the commoner out?"

"Is this for real? He was just telling them to move out of his way and not about saving the woman."

"To be honest, the woman does have a pretty face, but it's a shame she's a commoner. The best she could be is to be a slave for our pleasure."

The commotions became larger due to Lawrence's shocking words. They thought it was just some noble trying to roleplay a damsel in distress play.

Yet, their expectations were shattered when Lawrence basically held a facial expression that screamed 'get the hell out of my face'.

"You three, if you want to bully her, then drag her away from my path." Lawrence glared at the three men in disgust. "If I'm late to the ceremony, then you should know what I'm capable of, right?"

The three men trembled in fear at the threat of Lawrence. Not only were their nobility status inferior to Lawrence, but they were also frightened by his notorious crime in the past.

They didn't even bother saying anything as they tucked their tail and ran away.

Lawrence scoffed coldly when he watched them fleeing the scene in a cowardly manner. 'Talk about being a noble this and that. You people are the true disgrace for being scared of such a tiny threat.'

Honestly, it was painful for him to even listen to their conversation since it reminded him of how childish he was in the past.

Sometime later, Lawrence ignored the dumbfounded woman on the ground as he continued to walk ahead.

Meanwhile, Tristina held a shocked expression at Lawrence's back.

'The Young Master has really changed. This woman could be considered a beauty and with his usual personality, he would have already brought her to a corner to violate her. Yet he didn't even do that and looked at her in contempt.' She exclaimed inwardly.

She made sure to pinch her waist slightly to feel the pain to check that she wasn't daydreaming.

When she felt the slight pain on her waist, Tristina could only tilt her head back and forth, glancing at the woman and Lawrence.

"The world is truly ending…" She muttered in disbelief before chasing after Lawrence.

As for the woman on the ground, she held a dazed expression. "What just happened?"

Alas, no one had the time nor the mood to care about her given her commoner status. Instead, everyone began walking their way to the welcoming ceremony.

Missing the ceremony is essentially asking for yourself to be expelled on the first day. After all, the Tatum Academy was created under the direct command of Queen Elizabeth, and refusing to attend the ceremony was akin to disrespecting her.

Only a fool would dare to disrespect the queen of their kingdom. Not even a corrupted official would do such a foolish action.

Time slowly passed by, and Lawrence arrived at a large auditorium with seats numbered up to at least 500 students.

There was the main center platform, available for the principal and other instructors to stand on. As for the seating procedure, everyone was allowed to choose their own seat.

However, it was clear there was a distinct social class standing in the seating. The nobles were all on the front row seat whereas the commoners were all the way in the back.

If there was a commoner that tried to take a seat in the front row, then they would be blasted by a noble's spell. The Queen couldn't supervise everyone, so despite her strict command, there are still some that would do such a thing.

And the instructors would merely turn a blind eye to such actions, so long as it was not excessive.

As for Lawrence, he didn't even bat an eyelid in such a scene. Instead, he made his way toward the back of the seating and calmly sat down.

Nobles or commoners, Lawrence gave no damn about the status and was just sitting in the back for one reason.

By the time the ceremony ends, he would be the fastest one to leave the auditorium, and that was all that mattered.

He crossed his legs and closed his eyes, patiently waiting for the principal and instructors to begin their speeches.

Meanwhile, Tristina was shocked by Lawrence's decision to sit in a spot that was meant for commoners.

She didn't dare to remind him because of his past actions. It was clear that there was a change in Lawrence's mindset, but she just couldn't pinpoint where.

She calmly took a seat beside him and when the other commoners began walking in, they were dumbfounded to see a noble at the back.

"W-What is this noble doing here?"

"Shush, just mind your own business. All nobles have eccentric minds, so who knows what he's thinking."

Within a few minutes, every row of the seating was occupied except for the row that Lawrence was sitting in.

No commoners had dared to approach him, much less be close to him.

Sometime later, when almost every seat was occupied and the ceremony was about to begin, two new women entered the auditorium.

"Young Miss, we're late… all the nobles' seating areas are now occupied."

"Who says? Look at that row. There's still some seating over there."

"But Young Miss, that's a row meant for the commoners. You are the daughter of Duke Hamilton. How is it befitting of you to be associated with the commoners."

"Can you two shut up already?" While the two women were talking, Lawrence suddenly intervened and shouted.

"If you don't want to sit here, then move along already. Your stinky mouth is annoying."

"You-" One of the women wrinkled her brows as she pointed at Lawrence.

"Do you even know who my Young Miss is? How dare you talk to her like that?"

"Like hell do I give a crap about who your young miss is. This is the Tatum Academy, and if you want to throw in your weight by using your status, then I don't mind filing a complaint to the queen herself." Lawrence snorted coldly.

"The audacity." The woman was enraged as she stepped forward and glared at Lawrence.

"My Young Miss is Lady Clementine Hamilton, the daughter of Duke Hamilton. In other words, she is related to royalty and her majesty."

"Enough, Sefina." Clementine raised her hand and halted her follower from speaking any further.

Clementine had long red hair that extended to her narrow waist. She had an alluring appearance that is both sexy and graceful. Her breast was voluminous and exquisite along with the body figure of a beauty. "U-Understood, Young Miss." Sefina hurriedly responded and stepped backward when she was ordered by her.

"I suppose you are the son of Marquis Matthew, Lawrence Von Carrion, right?" Clementine recognized him at first glance.

She had long heard of his deed, and based on his tone of speech toward her. She could basically confirm that it had to be Lawrence.

After all, he was the only abnormal noble among them that would dare to speak and scold others without caring about their identity.

Lawrence nodded his head, not denying his identity.

He tilted his head slightly and took a glance at Clementine Hamilton.

"The seating area is already full except for the row I'm sitting in. Therefore, you can choose to sit here or stand there till the end of the ceremony. But there's another option, and that is you two can leave the auditorium." He said calmly, pointing to the exit door for them.
