"Monet, please prepare some food," Chen Fan instructed Monet on the side.
"Okay, big brother," Monet replied, and she quickly made her way inside the cabin.
Rafaite, standing nearby, grabbed a medical kit and handed it to Hawkeye Mihawk. Without refusing the gesture, Hawkeye Mihawk sprinkled some medicine and carefully tied up his wound.
On the other side, Chen Fan also applied some medicine but chose not to bandage all his wounds. He only tended to the two gruesome sword wounds on his arm.
In a few minutes, Monet returned with a large pile of food, consisting mostly of puffed snacks and semi-finished products suitable for cooking.
"Let's eat together," Chen Fan suggested with a smile as he looked at Hawkeye Mihawk.
Hawkeye Mihawk didn't refuse, as he sat on the right side and began to eat. The four of them sat at a table, all facing in one direction, indulging in their meal.
Chen Fan continued to devour his food, and a faint warmth radiated from his body, resembling mana after rain, constantly healing his injuries. Soon, his wounds had stopped bleeding and even started to scab.
Observing this, Hawkeye Mihawk's expression shifted slightly, a rare sight considering his usually stoic demeanor.
"Surprised, aren't you? Our captain's remarkable resilience," Rafaite remarked with a smile.
"Hmm," was Hawkeye Mihawk's simple response. This was the first time he had witnessed someone with such incredible recovery abilities. He even wondered if Chen Fan belonged to a unique group, like the giants.
After they finished their meal, the Thor continued its journey towards the New World, carried by the sea breeze.
Five days later, they arrived at Chambord Islands, a collection of enormous mangrove islands. The 13th island was their destination.
A medium-sized pirate ship, displaying the Thunder Flag, was docked on the shore. Chen Fan and the others made their way directly to Island No. 13, a place bustling with pirates, civilians, and navy personnel, creating a chaotic atmosphere.
Chen Fan's primary reason for coming here was to inquire about the whereabouts of Henry David. He vaguely remembered a rip-off bar on Island 13 with a lady who had a good rapport with Hades Renly.
Chen Fan didn't want to encounter Hades Reilly this time; after all, he wasn't at his peak strength yet, and taking on Hades Reilly was a formidable challenge.
Walking through the streets, Chen Fan couldn't help but notice slaves locked in iron cages and people treated like pets by nobles. This harsh reality of the One Piece world was on full display.
Rafaite and Hawkeye Mihawk remained unfazed, having grown accustomed to such scenes, knowing their limited ability to change things.
Chen Fan's face remained impassive; he was well aware of the world's cruelty. His goal was to become stronger and, ultimately, the strongest in the world, allowing him to control his life and the fate of others.
Of the four, only Monet looked upon the scene with a tinge of sadness. However, even at her young age, she understood that such circumstances were prevalent worldwide.
Ten minutes later, Chen Fan and his companions reached a tavern with a sign that read "Xia Qi's Rip-off Bar."
"We're here. Let's go inside," Chen Fan directed the others.
No one questioned his decision; they knew not to question Chen Fan's orders.
Once inside the tavern, they saw a variety of patrons, including pirates and mountain thieves, confirming the establishment's unsavory reputation. The tavern's proprietress had a mushroom-shaped hairdo and large eyes.
"Thor Chen Fan and Hawkeye Mihawk, what brings you both to my bar?" Xia Qi recognized them and locked her gaze on Chen Fan for a few seconds, surprised by his youthful appearance compared to his renowned accomplishments.
"We're here to find someone's whereabouts," Chen Fan got straight to the point, wasting no time.
"Alright, come with me," Xia Qi replied and led them to a back room. It wasn't suitable to discuss certain matters in a public space.
"Whose whereabouts are you seeking?" Xia Qi asked directly, understanding that her role was to provide information, not question her clients' motives.
"The Vice Admiral Henry David, and we need his details," Chen Fan said calmly.
"Information about the Vice Admiral of the Navy Headquarters? I have that information. It'll cost you 50 million berries," Xia Qi stated, maintaining her professionalism.
Chen Fan promptly handed over a generous amount of gold without hesitation, not bothering to retrieve the change.
"You're quite the generous one, Thunder God Chen Fan, showing both strength and an open hand," Xia Qi remarked as she accepted the gold.
After receiving payment, she left momentarily, retrieved the necessary information, and returned to share it.
"Vice Admiral Henry David was last seen near the small garden a day ago, and his warship is currently heading in the direction of the Navy headquarters. Take this photo and detailed information with you."
"Thank you," Chen Fan said as he took the photograph and details. The photo depicted a burly middle-aged man wearing a navy hat with a stern expression.
