Capítulo 4: Chapter 3: Divara Bloodline

. . . 6 years old . . .

Throughout these few years, Kazi was extremely invested and diligent in his training. If there was one thing he knew, it was that those who weren't born with talent, like himself, only had luck and hardwork to fall on.

Under the guise of loving books and reading, he found more time to lock himself up in his room to carry out his training the best he could. He would go out from time to time in their yard to also do some physical exercise to improve his physique.

'Though I haven't been able to test out my limits when it comes to physical capabilities, my control has improved a lot if I dare say so.' "Hahaha, am I not a little genius?"

With reference to knowledge from his past life, Kazi knew that it was always better to have great energy control than great amounts of the energy, so he focused a lot on learning to control his ora.

'I remember watching a show with an orange haired protagonist... or was it two shows?...'

Either way, in these shows, they had some sorts of spiritual powers that could also grow in magnitude, and they also emphasised control. Kazi took from them some exercises he could remember. Luckily, these exercises really helped him in practicing the control of ora. The ones he remembered were  walking on water surface and sticking leaves to his face. These exercises helped a lot.

The one his grandmother thought him helped him since it meant if one had good control, they could push against the water surface and only create ripples but not break the surface tension.

'I knew at the moment this was the famous walking on water. Aside from the fact that I have more faith than peter, I am also a ninja..' "He.He.He..."

Because of this and many more, Kazi formed a theory based on the information he got from reading books and his own experience.

The energy in this world known as ora was more like qi in Chinese stories or mana from the western world. This was based off the fact that it strengthened the body, making the human to become a fighting machine of total destruction and annihilation. One man could have the strength of ten.

'It's exactly so, since it's said that people can create balls of fire with a snap of their finger tip and create waves with a wave of their hands.'

"The best way to describe it is like a magic swordsman, but better."

If this world was truly so, then Kazi was happy, since it meant he would have a good reference for himself to maybe develop great technique in future.

"I'm a genius. Heh heh heh he-ack ack... It's good to not know your limits sometimes."

"I gave up on building my ora reserves and focused solely on control and physique. Now, I can be considered a leaf man..."

Kazi sat amidst the small garden they had at the back of the house with leaves all over his body. They had a tree growing there that littered the place quite a bit with dried leaves. Today, he convinced his mother to let him do the cleaning while she left the house for some business. What a sweet child... 'Heh, after today, that's it. I will pluck some fresh ones and take back to my room.'

He wanted to know how much his control had grown, and since his reference was the show from his former world, he could say he had grown a lot. 'Though even that was just fiction, and I can't say that it's realistic to how the energy would function. For that, I still have one last thing to test.'

. .

Inside his bathtub, where he took his bath, Kazi was standing on the surface of water. 'Now, even Jesus Christ got nothing on me when it comes to the art of water walking.'

Kazi soon came out, and before he even put on some clothes, he climbed his bed and walked towards the front.

'Now, for the last test...'

He placed one foot on the wall while the other was still on the bed. He was a bit nervous and a little shaky; after all, he could fail. He created the same feeling he normally does when walking on water with his foot on the wall, only changing it a little. Kazi tried to pull his leg from the wall and realised it was completely stuck. 'Good, now for the final...'

He pushed himself off his other leg and placed the foot on the wall, and it stuck!

'This!... Is freaking impossible!'

He released the ora from his feet and fell back to his bed. It would seem that the laws of physics were not completely gone in this world. Just like he thought, it wasn't all about the use of energy, physical strength was also involved, 'or should I better phrase it. Physical strength will also be needed.' If he was going to be fighting, being able to stick to vertical surfaces momentarily would help a lot and could even save his life.

. .

Two months after he turned six, the clan called for all the children to assemble for a special occasion. According to his mother, it was something that happened every year at this time, for children that had come of age to awaken their ora. This was not for the normal born children of course; they never had a chance to begin with. Being a child born of a normal mother, Kazi could already see how he would be treated by the older folk.

On arrival at the house of the clan head, the head of the clan, Kazi noticed that there were other kids gathered there as well, and after about thirty minutes, everyone had arrived.

'Seems like we aren't that much. At least, not as much as I thought we'd be.'

Since they were a fighting force, he was dead sure that everyone would try as much as possible to pump out as many children as they could to boost future fighting power, he turned out to be wrong.

'It's a bit weird standing here now. I don't look at my face much so I never thought too much of it, but all of us here really do have eyes with no pupils.' This world was really strange, but it seemed normal.

Kazi thought back to when he noticed it in his eyes and thought it was strange, but then his grandmother was the same. His mother was different though. The other kids had different shades of brown eyes with no pupils, but his were darker. 'Probably because of my mother.' He was glad his were black, it made him look cooler.
