*Rebecca's POV*
Haa... I didn't know anything could hurt more than a stomach shot, and I don't think there's a worse misfortune than unrequited love... at least in my experience.
I couldn't even stop it, no matter how hard I tried. Well, it's to be expected; people like me are only good for killing, not for saving anyone... I wonder if he's okay? No, that has nothing to do with me anymore. Well, my life was fun... albeit short.
Hell is unexpectedly empty and dark... how boring! Huh?! What's that?! A light?!... fuck!, don't tell me that I will meet god?!... Yeah! I'll take the chance to shoot that mother***ker for making my world a shit! Hyahahaha!
*POV end*
...
Allen opened his mouth in shock after realizing what he said, then coughed, trying to act normal. "Sorry, my reaction was exaggerated."
"What?!" Rebecca didn't let Allen escape and immediately pressed close to his chest in a flirtatious manner. "You said some very nice things a moment ago, cute boy~ just try for a while, and I wouldn't mind giving you a special reward~"
"Nah, I'm good." Allen put his hands on Rebecca's shoulders to push her away and express his refusal. Allen is usually more outgoing in streams, so it's hard to make him feel embarrassed, but this time, it was evident he was embarrassed.
"Hahahaha." Rebecca noticed this and laughed at Allen. "Well, at first, I thought you'd be a piece of shit, but unexpectedly, I like you!"
===
- She's a charm, both of them are owo
- She seems a bit vulgar to me -_-
- I see you're someone without culture, her character type has another nicer side, but it's only revealed after a while. That's Rebecca's charm.
- Sure, bro... anyway, what the shit is she doing here?! O_o
===
Allen didn't have time to worry about Rebecca's existence being revealed to the world; he was concerned about something else by seeing Rebecca here, because this was a virtual world!
Allen looked closely at the smiling Rebecca. 'Can they follow me into this virtual world?' It was already surprising that Wednesday could follow him to DC, but now Rebecca appeared in a virtual world that technically doesn't exist. It seems that whoever or whatever created the dolls doesn't want Allen to leave them behind.
"What's wrong? Did you see a ghost?" Rebecca acted cute while aiming a gun at Ghost.
Allen glanced sideways at Ghost, who remained silent, watching this. "He's a teammate, don't shoot him..."
"Buut he looks strong!! I would've liked to have a little one-on-one!" Rebecca pouted but holstered the gun.
Rebecca's personality is daring and unpredictable; she can be seen attacking wildly while laughing maniacally and then worrying about others. She's a sweet crazy girl who won the hearts of those who saw her anime. However, she also had one of the most regrettable stories; she never managed to win the protagonist's heart because he didn't have eyes for her. She lost her brother unexpectedly and almost all her friends.
In the end, she simply died brutally and bloodily. After that, it's rare to see her act like this because, for her, it's happened not long ago, but don't be fooled by her appearance; she's twenty years old, and due to her strong mentality, Rebecca can endure all that and act normally. In her world, life is pretty cheap and can end from one moment to another, so she doesn't make long-term plans; she just lives in the present, whether it lasts a year or a second more.
"Huh?! Seriously, what's wrong?! Tell me, tell me, tell me~" She tugged Allen's clothes cutely, but seeing that he didn't answer, she got annoyed and grabbed Allen's neck. "You son of a b... I'm talking to you!! Tell me what's going on?!"
Allen snapped back to reality, seeing the mini Harley Quinn merged with a tiger pulling on his neck. "I'm surprised you showed up... well, it doesn't matter now. Nice to meet you... I'm Allen."
Allen knew that inevitably, the existence of the waifus he bought would be revealed, but he didn't expect it to happen so soon.
"Ohh? You're unexpectedly nice~ another guy would have tried to hit me for being so rude even though I would have blown his head off hahahaha.." Rebecca laughed mischievously. "I'm Rebecca, your S** slave... I suppose~"
Allen choked upon hearing that response, but before he could deny it, something happened.
...
A couple of buildings away, a sniper was aiming at Allen's head.
"Alright, one kill for dad," said the man. He aimed and smiled before pulling the trigger.
To his misfortune, just before that, he was hit by a crossbow shot that struck his head, piercing his armor. The player panicked and ran away.
"What the hell!! Who uses a crossbow?! Agh!!" The player fell to the ground with another crossbow shot, not knowing who was shooting at him, and went straight to the Gulag this time.
The crossbow is a powerful weapon that can destroy someone's armor with a single shot, but it's very slow to reload, and in a game where a hundred bullets can rain down on you in half a second, it's practically suicide to use it.
Rebecca, Allen, and even Ghost turned to see what was happening and found Wednesday Addams standing in the street a few buildings away. She wore her black gothic dress, and her pale skin reflected the light. She held the crossbow on her shoulder as she approached slowly.
"Fyuu! Not bad!~" Rebecca whistled in admiration at Wednesday as she put her hands behind her head.
"What was the point of all my effort to hide?"she was tired and a bit frustrated; she always avoided appearing during Allen's live streams and in public in general to avoid revealing her existence because that would create a strategic disadvantage, and also because she doesn't like people. But now, the new girl shows up out of nowhere and immediately reveals her existence to the world.
Wednesday now feels like a masked superhero who has been hiding her secret identity for ten years, watching Tony Stark reveal that he's Iron Man five minutes after.
===
- Wednesday Addams?!
- No no no... this is an elaborate prank!!
- Watafak! What kind of strange crossover are we seeing?!
- People, who is Wednesday?
- In what world do you live if you don't know her?!
===
People also reacted, the shock for Wednesday was even bigger than with Rebecca, although Rebecca died in her story and was a beloved character, which was limited to people who liked the anime and the video game Cyberpunk 2077.
Wednesday Addams was much more famous, due to her great history in the world and finally, the Netflix series that managed to become one of the most viewed series in the world, whether everyone liked it or not, she flooded the entire internet and even reached traditional media.
Allen dryly smiled at the never-ending wave of questions in the chat, but more so, he was bleeding inside upon hearing the system notification about whether he wanted to pay the copyrights for both. With the fame that she has, it would be very expensive...
Allen wanted to travel and punch a lot of people right now because both Wednesday and Rebecca were real people, at least they are now. How was he supposed to pay companies for copyrights?!
Unfortunately, in the eyes of the majority of the public, it seemed that Allen had used his powers to bring two fictional characters to life, even if it was a virtual world.
If Allen were to take them out of the virtual world, it would unleash another controversy. Could Allen create life with his abilities?! If that escalated, it would be much more serious than just being powerful; to many, Allen would become a monster.
"Hey~ you shoot pretty well, gloomy girl~" Rebecca approached Wednesday to greet her. "I'm Rebecca... are you my sister or something?"
"I'm Wednesday... and you're also good with weapons." Despite her unsociable personality, Wednesday respected people with skills that interested her. So, she greeted Rebecca, "Our relationship is complicated; you can see us as reincarnation partners for now."
Allen muted the sound so that people couldn't hear Rebecca and Wednesday's conversation. However, his main concern was the dolls themselves; he now confirmed that they were capable of leaving whenever they wanted and going wherever he was unless he ordered them otherwise.
...
As Allen entered the world of entertainment, never said so literally as now, a ray of light struck near where Mjolnir had fallen the first time. After the light disappeared, there stood a man in a yellow cape, a golden scepter, and a horned crown. He had long, wavy black hair, a slender yet strangely imposing build, and of course, his flashy attire helped make a striking impact.
Loki was a more discreet man; he used illusions to disguise himself and didn't usually show himself much. He manipulated and controlled others before doing something as conspicuous as this. But the current Loki had his heart wrapped in anger and frustration, and he didn't care about those things.
Shield had closed off that perimeter to investigate it. While the hammer was taken by Allen, it had left a mark of energy particles worth investigating. So, Shield got to work, but they didn't expect a Norse god to descend from the sky in that spot.
Immediately, Coulson was alerted to Loki's presence and moved with armed Shield agents.
"Who are you?" Coulson aimed his pistol at Loki's back.
"Mortal, there was a hammer here, where is it?" Loki didn't turn around and only looked at the empty crater with a dark expression. Was it possible that Thor had reclaimed his hammer? Loki didn't believe his arrogant brother would change his attitude so quickly and become worthy again.
"Sir, I ask that you accompany me to answer some questions." Coulson wasn't an easy nut to crack; even if his opponent was not normal, he wasn't intimidated and, of course, didn't respond to Loki's question.
Loki smiled and lowered his head for a moment, then turned to the SHIELD agents pointing at him with a green glint in his eyes, they all froze like mannequins. One of the agents aimed at another and instantly shot him, leaving Coulson speechless. The agent fell to the ground with a hole in his head, without delay, the other agents pointed their guns at Coulson.
"I'll ask once more... mortal, where... is the hammer?"
"You can find it yourself,"Coulson replied, fearlessly.
Loki wasn't bothered; instead, he smiled disdainfully. "Oh?... A brave mortal?... I know others like you... and they all have the same weakness."
With a wave of his hand, the agents aimed their guns at their comrades. This time, they didn't seem like zombies; they had a desperate look as they did it. Loki left their minds conscious and only seized control of their bodies.
Loki's eyes glowed green. "You're going to tell me where the hammer is, Phillip Coulson?"
"Are you related to the guy who claims to be Thor?" Coulson kept calm, not caring how Loki knew his name; he focused on buying time.
"You know my brother?" Loki withdrew at the mention of Thor. Loki got alert; even though he temporarily claimed the Throne, that was because Thor wasn't worthy of it. Loki thought to himself, 'As long as my brother exists, the Throne will never truly be mine...'
Loki recalled the past with his brother, and although he felt pain at the idea of killing him, but he also harbored a lot of resentment towards Thor. To Loki, Thor's position was undeserved; the only thing he was better at than Loki was killing and fighting. There was no kingly quality beyond brute force and power.
– "A king should be wise, not just strong..."
Those were Odin's words many centuries ago, but to Loki, they were a lie.
Loki always felt that Odin favored Thor over him, and it was only when he knew he wasn't Odin's son and wasn't even an Asgardian but an ice giant, that he could understand why, at least from his point of view. From that moment, Loki believed that no matter how hard he tried to be a better son and heir than Thor, he would never be the King of Asgard.
– "My sons, only one will ascend to the throne, but both were born to be Kings."
'Liar...' Loki opened his eyes with a determined look on his face, 'If I'm not king by right, I'll be by elimination... without Thor there will be no choice but to accept me on the throne....'
Loki knew his coronation was temporary; if Thor returned, people would demand that the throne be handed back to him. That was how different Thor and Loki's positions were in the eyes of the people.
Loki looked at Coulson with murderous intentions. Loki had come to decide to kill his brother; a mere human wouldn't stand in his way. "You're brave, mortal... graveyards are full of brave men..."
