Jerking her thumb nervously behind her, Mei Xing asked. "Would you, uhm… would like to uhm, come in for a cup of coffee?"

Ever since he left his penthouse, they hadn't been spending as much time together. And she really missed him.

Tonight was wonderful and she didn't want it to end just yet. She didn't want him to go already.

"Of course, I'd love to," he replied, a gentle smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.

He was looking forward to spending more time with her. Mei Xing opened the door, stepping aside so he could enter.

Her pet dog, Snow, rushed to greet them. He was especially happy to see his other favourite person.

"Make yourself at home. I'll get the coffee machine running," she said with a smile.

"Okay."
