Serena looked around the room, having gotten used to how loud and chaotic a gathering at Ryan's parents is, she wouldn't wish to be anywhere else.

She made an eye contact with Roark across the table - who as usual ignored the anarchy going on around him - she sent him a warm smile and he returned her smile with a little pull of his lips, that the best smile she could get from him, better than his usual frown, at least, he was making progress.

Feeling unsettled with the little pain she was feeling at the base of her stomach, she rubbed a hand over her heavy and large bump lovingly, soon the bun in the oven will be due, very soon.
