“Ali, no! This is … it can’t be happening?” mumbling to himself. Leo was out of sorts as he held the phone, his eyes blazing red as the sound continued to play on repeat in his head.

She can’t be dead. How is she? She should be saved by now!

Douglas was in panic mode, and not knowing what to do. His thoughts jumbled from all the anxiety and fear of what might happen.

“Brother, wake up! Why don’t you call her again? Maybe it was a false alarm!”

Hearing that, his eyes suddenly brightened. Yes, if he called, wouldn’t he hear at least a response?

So, he called again. However; the call failed to go through. He tried again, and the response was the same. After doing so repeatedly, Douglas once again deflated.

“What should I do? I can’t reach her. Nothing should have….. no, I need to call someone. Tadiwa, yes … he can help me. He should!” continuing to mumble to himself as he clutched the phone tightly in his hand. Douglas lamented and found a solution by himself.
