I couldn’t help but tap the desk as I looked at the young woman who was sitting in front of me.

“Elder, what do you think?” she asked me nervously. And by just looking at her, I could tell what she wanted.

I paused my knocking and closed my eyes for a moment before I opened them.

“It’s a good idea. We don’t have much time, actually. Whatever you are doing, make sure that it’s done by December,” I said calmly as I looked at her.

The young woman was stunned upon hearing that.

“It’s December? Wasn’t it supposed to be next year?” she asked, horror on her face.

I shook my head calmly before responding. “I don’t have that much patience. So, you choose what you want. Continue serving the church or you resign early and wait for me that side!”
