Capítulo 25: Counterattack!
"You fucking retarded ape! You'll pay for that! It's our turn! Counter attack!"
Helena screamed in rage.
This was her first time being sent flying in a one on one battle ever since she grew to the peak of her strength.
She had to return the favor to the ape!
"Warriors, heed the commands of your squad leaders on when to strike, do not ever try to attempt to take a hit from this ape! You might die!"
"Squad leaders, try to minimize taking a hit against this fat ape! I will be the one taking the brunt of its attacks. Focus on getting the right timing to strike so no one will get hurt!"
"Archers! Turn this shitty ape into a porcupine! keep the arrows flying"
Helena didn't lose her reasoning due to rage though as she yelled another order.
"Yes!..Captain!"
The troops immediately got into position according to Helena's orders.
After a brief moment, the battle started again.
Helena charged straight into the yeti as she tried to stab its fist.
The yeti wasn't able to react in time as the sword stabbed quite deep into its right fist.
Helena got quite lucky as her strike struck a nerve in the yeti's fist making its face grimace in pain.
*ROAAAAAAAARRRR*
She pulled out her sword and retreated before the yeti could recover and strike back.
The battle went on for another hour.
Everyone including the yeti were exhausted.
A few moments later, the yeti fell down on its knees, seemingly about to die.
"Chance! Leif! Help me! Let's strike it down!"
Alexander and Leif, Helena's left and right hand men and the strongest among the warriors joined forces to try and end the fight.
It seemed to be the perfect time to strike.
Helena looked deeply at the yeti, she tried to confirm if it really doesn't have the energy anymore.
Alexander and Leif were sprinting straight for the yeti's throat.
"N..No! Go back! It's a trap!"
Helena quickly yelled upon seeing a strange smile on the face of the acting yeti.
"AGHKKK!"
The yeti swatted the two charging warriors to the side.
Both Alexander and Leif fell down, unconscious.
Seeing the success of its sneak attack, the yeti smiled in glee and immediately sprinted towards the two unconscious warriors.
*HEHHEHEHEHEHE*
It seemed to laugh in a creepy manner as it tried to grab Alexander's unconscious body.
"Captain!!"
The troops yelled in horror as they saw Helena sacrifice herself for the two unconscious squad leaders.
"L..Let go of me you stinking ape!"
Helena sliced and diced the hand of the ape as it grabbed her by the neck.
Although she was inflicting damage, the cuts were unfortunately not deep enough for the ape to let her go.
"K..Aghkkkk."
Helena started to suffocate as the yeti slowly tightened its grip on her neck.
*HEHEHHEHEHEHEHE*
The yeti laughed as Helena slowly fell unconscious.
It was currently playing with its food since it knows that only Helena can resist it.
If this human girl dies, it will be able to massacre the remaining humans.
A few seconds passed.
Helena was gasping for air as she repeatedly continued to strike the hands of the yeti.
Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to make the yeti let go of her.
The situation was dire. Helena's arms limped down as her life flashed before her eyes.
She remembered her life back at the manor, her father, Blanc, and Adelaine.
She cannot die here!
"Y..You shitty ape! I'll bring you down with me!"
Helena resolved herself to die together with the yeti!
Her eyes were as sharp as a sword as she stared right into the yeti's eyes.
"Die!!"
Helena stabbed her sword towards the yeti's forehead.
In response to her strike, the yeti held out its hand forward in order to increase the distance between Helena and its own forehead.
Just when it seemed like the strike would not reach the yeti, the faint but sharp white light stabbed towards the yeti's forehead and it went through!
This was the same strike she used to kill a goblin leader.
Disgusting purple blood dripped from the yeti's head as it fell down on its back, dead.
"C..Captain!"
The rest of the troops dashed towards Helena to check her condition.
"I..I'm okay, how's Alex and Leif?"
Helena herself couldn't walk towards Alex and Leif's unconscious body so she had to let her subordinates check their condition.
"Reporting to the captain! Squad leader Alex and Squad leader Leif's condition is stable right now. They have a few broken bones but that's it."
"Their lives aren't in danger and they're just unconscious."
Hearing that her subordinate's lives weren't in danger, Helena breathed a sigh of relief.
"I see.. That's good to know. All of you, take them outside, make them a temporary grass bed, and let them rest."
Helena ordered.
"B..but captain, your condition.."
"Don't worry about me, I'm fine. I still have to tend to my wounds so you guys go ahead first."
The troops including the squad leaders left the cave and Helena was now alone.
"Haaahh…Haaaah.."
Helena held her throat as she breathed heavily. She remembered the sensation of almost getting choked to unconsciousness by the yeti.
Strangely though, a slight blush appeared on her face as she suddenly thought of Blanc doing the same thing to her while they're doing "it" and she couldn't help but fidget uncomfortably on the spot.
After a brief moment wherein strange thoughts took over her head, she snapped back to reality and consumed the last lesser potion that she had.
