Alisha touched her face again, and it was still burning hot.

"Jaylene, you're such a muddleheaded fool, you're having a fever!" Alisha shouted angrily.

This was not merely her wanting to sleep; she was clearly sick.

"Fever?" Jaylene touched her own forehead with her hand.

She couldn't tell herself, she just felt light-headed and wanted to sleep.

Aside from her throat feeling dry, and her head somewhat aching, she didn't notice anything else because the fever was too severe.

"Jaylene, you're an adult, and you don't even know when you're sick with a fever? Why didn't you tell me at noon?" Alisha was really angry with her.

"Should I take you to the hospital?" Alisha suggested: "Go change your clothes quickly. Luckily, the hospital is just across the street."

"No," Jaylene stubbornly shook her head: "I'm fine. Just drink some hot boiled water and sleep it off."

After saying this, she turned and walked into her bedroom, falling onto the bed directly, ready to sleep some more.
