Lawrence and his daughter, Erica, seethed with anger as they watched the news report about the destruction of their shipment. Erica clenched her fists, her face twisted with rage.
Erica (furiously): "Those meddling fools! How dare they destroy our shipment!"
Lawrence, though equally furious, tried to maintain a semblance of composure.
Lawrence (through gritted teeth): "We will make them pay for this, Erica. No one crosses us and gets away with it."
Erica (determined): "Father, I'll personally oversee on this."
Lawrence nodded, his mind already churning with plans for vengeance.
Lawrence (resolute): "We'll show them that crossing the Tremaine family comes at a high cost."
Sayo, once a formidable figure in the underworld, now found herself in a precarious position. Her reputation had crumbled, her empire had fallen, and she was on the run from both law enforcement and powerful enemies. She knew that her only lifeline was her dwindling Mafia connections.
As she hid in her makeshift hideout, she couldn't shake off the fear that the first generation legend, Amane, had instilled in her with his cold, unwavering gaze. Sayo had underestimated the extent of her opponent's strength, and it had cost her dearly.
Sayo (whispering to herself, trembling): "I can't believe I let it come to this... They won't stop until they've taken everything from me."
Her once mighty confidence had been replaced by anxiety, and she knew that her days of dominance were over.
Desperation had driven Sayo to reach out to Lawrence, her former business partner and an influential figure in the underworld. As they spoke, they realized that their common enemy was the group that had decimated their operations and caused them immense losses.
Sayo (on the call): "Lawrence, we're both in dire straits. These people, they've cost us everything. We need to join forces to take them down."
Lawrence (grimly): "You're right, Sayo. Our best chance is to pool our resources and strike back. We can't let them destroy us completely."
In the face of a common threat, the two former allies reluctantly agreed to collaborate, hoping that their combined strength would be enough to turn the tide in their favor.
As Izumi enjoyed his lunch in the school cafeteria, he couldn't help but contemplate the potential plans that Sayo and Lawrence might be hatching. His mind was always alert to the dangers that could threaten his family, and he was determined to stay vigilant.
However, his moment of reflection was interrupted by a chorus of admiring whispers from the girls in the cafeteria. The transformation he had undergone from his previous chubby self to a more muscular and confident young man hadn't gone unnoticed.
Among the admirers, Michan noticed the attention Izumi was receiving, and her jealousy flared up. She approached the group of girls with determination and issued a clear warning.
Michan (firmly): "Hey, girls, that's my man you're ogling. Keep your eyes to yourselves."
Her protective stance made it clear that she wouldn't tolerate anyone getting too close to her beloved Izumi.
