Gloria pursed her lips silently.
Nydia shook her head again, "It's different. We grew up together and our families had been friends for generations. None of us wanted that to happen. Mrs. Lloyd won't take it to heart."
Jennifer sighed, "I'm just worried. I know in theory she won't."
Jennifer bowed her head after saying that. In fact, she was still guilty. She shouldn't have blamed Gloria that day, but... Mrs. Lloyd cared more about Bryson than she did. After all, Bryson was her son.
Jennifer became more and more worried.
Gloria was calm, "I should be blamed for what happened that day. I think it's normal even if Mrs. Lloyd blames me. Jennifer, don't think too much. Sometimes we have to bear the consequence for what we do."
