Chapter 03 – Greenskin Vs Darkskin
Written By Dr Armstrong
->Drakka POV<-
A loud, fiendish squeal was let out as what could only be described as a dog-sized Bat with 6 limbs, 2 as wings, 4 as legs, and a pair of tusks growing out from its dark maw.
Even faster than when it came, a flash of panic and surprise drowned its eyes as a small wooden stake was thrust into its direction like a flash of thunder.
The bloodied state of Drakka's weapon was not accidental. In Orkish Kultur, Red was the colour of speed, the colour of acceleration. Those who have mastered the mythical colour of red, the colour of blood, must be amongst the fastest of the Waaagh!
The stake had great momentum, combined with its aerodynamic shape as well as its lightweight, it was already quite fast. However, such speeds would have simply not been able to do the job against such an agile Monster like the Bat.
But when it was painted red?
~Voosh~Splurt~!
[The Skill – [WAAAGH!] Has leveled up into LV 2.]
The Snotling thrust his mighty Choppa, targeting the Bat's chest to end this fight in one fell swoop by stabbing into its monstrous heart.
Yet even with the Choppa's impressive speed, the Bat still managed to evade half of the attack via the use of a speed-enhancing skill, perhaps a flying variant of Dash.
But the Monster only managed to evade just enough for the stake to not pierce its vital heart, yet still enough for it to be lodged inside its bloodied ribs.
"Zraa!?" The Bat let out a shrill shriek as it tried to rake apart the green bastard in front of him, but was desperately fended off and pushed away by the spear as the Snotling suddenly looked downwards, barely avoiding a clawed attack that could have decapitated his head.
"Guh!" With the spear lodged inside the Bat, Drakka spun his upper body around and exhaled, causing the creature to wail in pain and frustration. It was then forced to collide with the nearby tree trunk, teeth and blood flying out with a burst of sound.
~BAAM~!
As if wielding a Warhammer, the Snotling swung backwards then smashed his Choppa-inside-a-bat into the giant tree's hard shell yet again, like the nightly aftermath of a blind date with the local sentient Mickey Mouse costume.
[The Skill – [Bash] Has levelled up into LV 3.]
~Crack~SHATTER~!
His Choppa shattered into splinters as the weak little stick could not withstand the terrifying force, while the Bat suffered gruesome injuries as a significant portion of his skeletal structure located in the upper body had cracked and bent in unnatural directions, the stray aligned bones practically blending his insides.
"ZRAA!" But its life remained...
Drakka briefly glanced at his broken stick, the sharpened tip had already been reduced to meagre splinters. He recklessly threw it at the Bat's face as a form of temporary distraction before he sprinted towards the Monster with arms wide open.
"ZRA!?" The Bat showed a visibly confused expression as the little Snotling hugged its form, arms wrapping around the Monster's chest.
He clawed and slashed against the Snotling's body, opening up many claw marks and fresh wounds as blood splashed around.
And then...
"Dash...!" The Bat's vision blurred before a loud crash rocked his world, the Snotling having launched himself alongside the Bat into the hard tree trunk, the tree rumbling as it shook from the force.
"Gr..." The Snotling forced the pain and exhaustion into his ass with the combined power of his 35 Will before he spread his arms open and shouted out loud.
"Me 'andz are 'ammerz!" The Snotling shouted before he clapped the Bat's disorientated skull.
~BAAM~!
The image of war hammers was visualized upon his goblinoid arms as the gestalt psychic field known only as the WAAAGH shone an Orkish green, blessing the Snotling with unnatural strength.
However, the Snotling was left disappointed as his so-called Hammer Clap didn't even come close to its former glory, it seems his connection to the WAAAGH had been greatly suppressed, probably due to the fact that he was the only Greenskin here…
The Bat could only hear loud ringing as blood dribbled down from its ears, the drums crushed to mush by the Snotling's Hammer Clap. It gripped its own head with frantic eyes as the Bat's field of vision blurred like low-quality footage, the brain rattled and shook as the Bat leaned against the tree, looking like a dishevelled rodent.
Drakka glanced at his hands, they were broken, flesh and bone exposed to the wind as it stroked against his wounds with subtle surges of pain. He looked down even further, only now realizing the fact that his leg had completely healed somehow.
[The Skill – [Regeneration] Has levelled up into LV 2.]
He thanked the twin Gods, Gork and Mork for their gift as he attributed this rapid regeneration to their divine blessing, which wasn't too far off as it was simply the WAAAGH which had greatly boosted all bodily functions after he had entered a worthy combat scenario.
"Grr…for the WAAAGH!!!" He screamed out before immediately using his newly regenerated limb to good use.
The Snotling kicked the Bat in its non-existent nuts shortly before kicking it again, this time off of the tree.
The Bat's shell-shocked mind caused it to only realize its predicament halfway through, and it frantically tried to fly up and away.
Yet his wings had already been broken and battered, so the only fate it could escape from was of the living…
[You have defeated LV 3 – Juvenile Dentis Myotis.]
[You have gained EXP.]
[You have levelled up to LV 2, Skill Point awarded.]
The Snotling sighed with relief and satisfaction as he peeked through the tree leaves at the floor below.
A red splatter on the ground accompanied the Myotis' corpse as the smell of sweet iron emanated from the bloodied cadaver.
Normally, such a meagre fall wouldn't have killed the average monster, let alone the Myotis bat. However, its weakened state made a rather fatal combo...
Drakka glanced at his hands, they were still in the process of regeneration but it seemed that even with the WAAAGH juicing up the regen speed, it still only managed to regenerate about a quarter way through.
Which was still quite unbelievable for a non-Greenskin.
The problem with his broken hands lay in the fact that they could no longer be used for the main reason he got them in the first place; which was climbing trees.
The Snotling glanced down at the Bat's corpse, he really wanted it for himself, he was starving beyond belief and eating upon the fresh remains of a good fight was of ultimate satisfaction.
"Blue God...'elp me out 'ere!" He shouted toward the System, asking what he thought to be Tzeentch for help.

Well, bugger me titties. There wasn't a single Skill that could actually help him in this situation...
Climb would be useful if he could still use his hands, although he could try to climb by using his feet and maw, which would be kind of awkward looking...
Unless...
