Capítulo 76: Pig blood

Evelyn knocked on the door to Duke Arthur's study and was greeted by Geoffrey and Maxine. "Good morning," she said. 

"Good morning," Maxine smiled. "I have gathered the materials for the potion," she said.

"Oh," Evelyn exclaimed. "I was actually going to ask you about that. I was not sure what kind of blood my mother had used before, but I was wondering if you have fed on any other creatures before?"

Maxine looked at Evelyn with a confused look, "I do not think I have," she said.

"Well, I was thinking that the potion might work better if you had a blood that was stronger than human blood. I was thinking about having Michael find some at the black market."

Maxine thought for a moment, she had not thought about feeding on other creatures before but it did make sense. If she fed on the blood of a stronger creature, maybe the potion would work better. "I will see what I can come up with," she said.
