Asta was training in the forest when he decided to drink a strange potion. "Now for a miraculous potion that increases magic power!"
As he remembered the villagers mocking him and Nash's discouraging words, Asta's determination grew stronger.
"I'll become a Wizard King!!!" Asta's eyes widened with determination. "I'll bet my life on it!!"

It's also the time when 15-year-olds from all over the kingdom gather to be awarded the item that reinforces their power: a grimoire.
Asta, Yuno, and Light walked to the Grimoire Tower in Hage Village.
Many young men and women had already entered the Grimoire Tower.
A voice echoed across the tower.
[Welcome to the Grimoire Acceptance Ceremony, young ones.]
[Today, for your future, you will be granted...]
[Faith, Hope, and Love!]
The message resonated throughout the tower.
An old man, Wizard Doruo, was carried by a flying carpet. "I am the head of this Grimoire Tower," he announced.
"Now then, is the Wizard King amongst us?"
Asta looked around in wonder. "Whoa! Amazing!"
Yuno shook his head helplessly, while Light, despite his previous composure, felt excited.
The people around them stared disdainfully. "They look so poor."
"You don't need to put them on the same level as us; they're peasants," someone from the crowd remarked disdainfully.
Wizard Doruo continued, "There isn't a person here who wants to become Magic Knights for their own personal achievements."
Asta looked on excitedly. "This is finally my chance to become a Wizard King!"
While Wizard Doruo continued, "We actually have someone here who wants to become a Wizard King!"
The old man suddenly snapped, "No, I'm serious!"
"Now then..."
The crowd watched with excitement.
"Grimoire... Conferment."
The grimoires floated around, illuminating the area with their light.
The grimoires rushed to their chosen owners, and those who received one exclaimed, "This is... My grimoire..."
"Mine is bigger!"
"Mine is thicker!" (AN: This is getting SUS.)
"Hell yeah! With this, I can say goodbye to the sticks and go to the city!"
"I'll take over my father's company!"
"I'll decide after checking out my grimoire a little more."
"We'll be taking the Magic Knight test in six months," a fancy boy with long hair declared.
"Excuse me..." Asta's voice suddenly interrupted the discussion in the Grimoire Tower.
"A grimoire hasn't come my way yet." Asta opened his arms, seemingly willing to accept any grimoire.
The old man, Wizard Doruo, witnessing this, shook his head and said helplessly, "Try again... Next year..."
Asta was shocked and blurted, "What!!!???"
"Pftt... Hahahahaha!!!" the crowd burst into laughter.
"It's actually kind of amazing!"
Sister Lily and Father Orsi watched wide-eyed and open-mouthed at the scene. Nash shook his head. "Are you kidding?"
Light, who was still waiting for a grimoire, felt for Asta, but he wasn't about to announce and embarrass himself like Asta.
Suddenly, an incredible emerald light appeared, illuminating a grimoire that seemed to pulse with life.
Everyone stopped laughing and stared at the awe-inspiring sight of Yuno receiving an extraordinary grimoire.
Everyone stared wide-eyed and speechless, shocked by this amazing scene.
"Isn't that a four-leaf clover!?" someone in the crowd exclaimed in astonishment.
"The same one the first Wizard King held..."
"It holds incredible power, with the four-leaf symbolizing 'Luck.'"
"He was able to receive it!!!" Yuno, feeling the power of the received grimoire, announced confidently, "I will become a Wizard King!"
Light, who was still waiting for a grimoire, stared at Yuno quite seriously.
Asta looked at Yuno, dazed and lost.
The people from the church, Father Orsi, Sister Lily, Nash, all stared at Yuno.
"Ohhhh!!!!"
"Sweet!!!"
"Yuno is really amazing!" Nash exclaimed in admiration.
"We actually have some hope rising from the province!"
"He's so cute!!!"
"A street rat like him?" the fancy long-haired young man said in denial. "There has to be some mistake!"
"Yuno..." Before Asta could declare his speech, another incredible scene unfolded.
The crowd was about to focus on Asta near Yuno when the Grimoire Tower was suddenly covered in ominous darkness.
"Ah! WHAT'S HAPPENING!?"
Wizard Doruo grew serious, ready for an attack, but he was surprised to find that someone was still receiving a grimoire.
"It's the Grimoire!!! Someone is still receiving one!!!"
Everyone's attention turned to another person receiving a grimoire.
But it wasn't an ordinary grimoire.
It was unlike anything Wizard Doruo had seen before...
Asta, Yuno, and the people from the church, especially, looked at the figure the grimoire was heading toward.
It was Light, standing calmly with his hands tucked in his pockets.
Light had always been confident that he would receive one.
But Light was shocked to see his grimoire...
The familiar book floated in front of Light.
Everyone stared intently at the grimoire but noticed a vast difference from ordinary ones!
The grimoire exuded a dark aura, unlike any they had seen before, and it was accompanied by a fancy quill.
Unlike the usual thick and book-like appearance of grimoires, this one was thin and smaller.
It resembled an ordinary notebook, with words written on it that no one in this world could understand.
