Capítulo 42: Chapter 40: Golden Fury: Seraphine's Triumph
Chapter starts on Kurayami. Kai and Seraphine face Malgarius, determined to stop him. They employ various fighting combinations, their moves flowing seamlessly together, making it difficult for Malgarius to predict their attacks.
Malgarius: "You're starting to get on my nerves."
He grabs both Kai and Seraphine, slamming them together. They hit the ground hard, but Kai quickly stands.
Kai: "Teamwork doesn't seem to work anymore," he mutters to Seraphine.
Kai utilizes his Lightning Step, appearing behind Malgarius, delivering a powerful Raijin Fist. The unexpected move catches Malgarius off guard, sending him sprawling to the ground.
Malgarius: "Kid, I have to say you're creative. But creativity alone won't win this."
Charging his ki, Malgarius rushes at Kai, who is paralyzed by fear in the face of Malgarius' overwhelming power. Malgarius seizes Kai by the neck, thrusting a ki blade into him. Kai cries out in agony.
Malgarius: "How about joining the Shadow Cult?"
Kai, despite the pain, musters his resolve.
Kai: "Never."
Malgarius, unmoved, pushes the blade deeper, causing Kai to vomit blood. Weakened, Kai is flung aside.
Malgarius: "Boring. Who's next?"
He senses Seraphine's power level surging. She stands, tears mingling with anger.
Seraphine: "How could you?"
With a burst of golden aura, Seraphine's eyes briefly shimmer in green, and her black hair flickers with a golden hue. She charges at Malgarius, her punch striking his face with tremendous force. She pushes her fist against him with all her might, screaming in determination.
As she continues to exert pressure, her aura oscillates between its normal state and a radiant golden form. Eventually, she sends Malgarius hurtling toward the Temple of Seals, the sheer impact shattering the structure.
Seraphine stands in silence, her emotions overwhelming her.
Seraphine: "Serves you right."
Exhausted, she collapses to the ground, her battle against Malgarius taking its toll.
