Meanwhile, Kaizer, with his ever-watchful eye, noticed the curious glances exchanged by the Serpentine youngsters. He couldn't help but grin mischievously. Turning to Darcia, he said in a playful tone, "Looks like you've got some admirers, my lady. These young ones seem quite taken by your beauty."
Darcia, who had been lost in thought, glanced at the Serpentine children and then back at Kaizer. A faint blush touched her cheeks, but she smiled warmly at the youngsters. Gertrude, with her nurturing spirit, formed an instant bond with a small Serpentine girl, Lilith, who held onto her hand with reverence. Looking up at Gertrude, the young snake girl said, "You're so kind. I want to be just like you when I grow up."
Touched by the girl's words, Gertrude knelt down and enveloped her in a warm embrace. "Always remember, dear, you have the power to be whoever you want to be. Just be true to yourself."
As lunchtime approached, the group joined the students at the vibrant, bustling tables, and Kaizer, with a playful twinkle in his eye, initiated a conversation. "Who among you can share the funniest joke?"
The children eagerly shared their most humorous jokes, which led to infectious laughter echoing through the lunch area. One particularly witty Serpentine boy quipped, "Why did the snake bring a ladder to school? Because it wanted to go to high school!"
