Not once did he think of obeying the directive given by the person over the phone, so he simply dropped the device back on the cabinet, and turned back to face the sleeping Shikera.

Just then, the door opened and the doctor sauntered in, his eyebrows raising in surprise when he noticed Andrew was still in the room.

"You're still here? Didn't you receive a call on her phone just now?"

Andrew smiled politely at the man's confidence and slight rudeness, even though he was confused within himself. How did the doctor know he just received a call on Shikera's phone? And was it a common thing nowadays for men to be rude to fellow men?
