Capítulo 6: Chapter 6: Pokémon Voltage Academy
After Fuecoco had lost, it had been a few hours since going to the pokecenter to heal Fuecoco up. While waiting on Fuecoco, Troy began to think back on what happened after that battle.
Troy quickly went to Fuecoco to see if it was all right, while everyone started to laugh at Troy for not being able to win. Troy couldn't care and only whispered one thing: "Why won't you listen?"
Returning Fuecoco to his pokeball, Troy was about to leave when he seemed to be stopped by Tom's crew: "Where do you think you're going? We still want to battle." Just as they were harassing Troy, Tom intervened: "Will you guys shut up and just let him go? He's not worth it."
Troy, still thinking about the past, was snapped out of it by Nurse Joy: "Young man, your Fuecoco has been healed up, and thank you for using the pokecenter."
Just as Troy was about to leave, he saw Tom also leaving the pokecenter. When both were next to the entrance, Troy had said to Tom, "Are you here also to laugh at me for not being able to control my Pokémon still?" Tom hearing this could only scoff, "You think I will laugh at a battle that I nearly lost, and what's worse is that your Pokémon wasn't even listening to you for this to be a real Pokémon battle, next time we battle, your Pokémon better be listening."
Tom left Troy to think about what Tom had said, when all of a sudden Fuecoco suddenly came out of its pokeball and started to run off by itself. Troy, seeing this, called out, "Fuecoco, wait, where are you going?" Fuecoco, still not listening, ran off to somewhere.
Looking around the campus for Fuecoco, Troy was starting to get tired. Just as he was about to go looking somewhere else, he heard a voice. "Hey Troy, are you looking for this little guy?" Turning around, Troy had seen Baker holding Fuecoco.
Giving Fuecoco back to Troy, Baker said to him, "Hey, I heard what happened; are you ok?" Troy, hearing this, could only reply, "No, not really, Fuecoco is not listening to me, and I already lost my first battle after talking about being the best at the academy."
After talking to Baker for a bit, Troy returned Fuecoco back to his pokeball and started to head to his dorm. Once arriving at the dorms, Troy went into his room and started humming his whistle so as not to wake other people up during the night. While humming, Fuecoco all of a sudden came out of the pokeball and started to sing along with Troy's humming.
Troy, still humming without realizing that Fuecoco had gotten out of his pokeball, sang along with Troy for the next few minutes. After finishing humming, Troy saw that Fuecoco was on top of him, staring at him. Ha, so you like the song. So do I; my mom used to sing it to me to calm me down."
Troy said calmly "Fuecoco, why don't you listen to me, like everybody else's Pokémon?"
Fuecoco hearing this was acting strangely like it was trying to say something, Troy not understanding what Fuecoco was trying to say could only give up and say goodnight to Fuecoco, and Fuecoco seeing this could only go to sleep next to Troy.
