With hurried steps alongside Charlie, Angelica navigated the deserted hospital corridors, occasionally crossing paths with visitors or nurses until they reached a spacious room equipped with sophisticated blue and white-themed equipment. Alex was there, of course, alongside Karina, watching over Louis.

Angelica slowed her pace, looking at her father who smiled at her. Instantly, she recalled his mistakes and her actions in saving her from Miranda's madness.

"My Angel," whispered Louis.

Charlie glanced at the somewhat speechless Angelica, then embraced her from the side.

"Come on, he's welcoming us warmly," he said.

Angelica took a deep breath as if shedding her doubts and fears. She walked towards Louis and stopped by his side.

"My daughter," Louis whispered with dry lips. "I know what I did won't undo the past... But now, I promise to give you anything you want, including permission to marry Charlie," he continued with a sad look.
