As Sebastian's piercing gaze remained fixed on the unconscious Jolene, his voice cut through the tense air.

Sebastian sounded cold and distant as he questioned the bodyguard who had just walked in.

"What happened to her?"

The bodyguard hesitated for a moment, feeling the weight of Sebastian's glare upon him.

He already saw his boss's deadly expression and he could only blame himself for being the cause.

He lowered his head and replied, "Miss Jolene went to the Yu mansion. She started acting strange after consuming the food served there. I suspect Madam Yu is responsible for this, boss."

Sebastian's jaw clenched as he listened to the bodyguard's account. In an instant, he grabbed the bodyguard's neck, "What did I tell you before leaving the villa?"
