Capítulo 15: Chapter 15: Pokémon Rising Volt
After Looker had accepted Troy's help, they started to come up with a plan to save the trainer and Pokémon from the control of Malamar. Troy, needing more information about Malamar, had opened up the pokedex app.
"Malamar, the overturning Pokémon, wields the most compelling hypnotic powers of any Pokémon, and it forces others to do whatever it wants."
Seeing the information about Malamar on the pokedex, Troy could only think of one thing: how is Malamar able to control this many people? Looker, looking at Troy, asked what's wrong. "It doesn't make sense. I know Malamar has strong hypnotic abilities, but how is it able to control all these people and Pokémon?" Looker, surprised by what Troy had said, could only come up with a theory. "Now listen here, Troy. This is just a theory, but I think a machine is the cause of this helping Malamar control all these people and Pokémon!"
After talking about what their first priority was, which was to find the machine helping Malamar, Looker came up with an idea: Alright, here's the plan. I'm going to distract Malamar and its trainer while you sneak behind and find the machine and destroy it.
Troy hearing could only think of one thing "dammit, I'm still not strong enough; all I would do is get in the way of Mr. Looker." While waiting for the signal, Troy caught a glimpse of the Malamar tentacle, and just by seeing it, Troy could get all the information he needed.

Troy, seeing Malamar's stats and moves, quickly tried to look for Looker and warn him to be careful. After about a few seconds of trying to spot Looker, Troy had found him about to release what he could assume was Arcanine and had called out to Looker. "LOOKER, DON'T DO IT. HIS POKEMON COULD HAVE THE ABILITY CONTRARY, WHICH WOULD BUFF HIS POKEMON STATS IF YOU TRIED TO LOWER IT. HE COULD ALSO HAVE THE MOVE TRICK ROOM."
Hearing all this about Malamar, Looker had so many questions. Just then, Malamar had used a dark pulse on Troy. No one was able to react in time to the dark pulse coming straight for Troy, thinking he would be dead. A shadow came by lightning fast, standing in front of Troy, who had used a night slash to block the attack. Troy, still waiting for the dark pulse to hit, had opened his eyes to see Absol in front of him, protecting him.
Looker, seeing that Troy was okay, faced back to Malamar. Remembering what Troy had yelled decided, he would send out Toxicroak instead. Looker, looking calm, said quickly, "Toxicroak, use cross-choice, then dodge, use, and use counter."
Troy being amazed at how Looker can be so calm and make quick decisions like that, making him look like an elite trainer even though he's a detective, Troy forgetting about finding the machine, he supposedly asked Absol for help. Absol, I need your help finding a machine that controls everyone here."
Absol understanding had agreed to help by nodding. Running around trying to search for the machine, he soon found a building with lights on, meaning it could be only one thing: the culprit and the machine were in there.
Troy ran ahead, forgetting how dangerous it could be if rushed in there, had opened the door, only to find no one except for some strange device. After a few minutes had gone by, Looker had come running along, asking Troy, "Did you find the culprit and the device?"
Troy explains that he didn't find the culprit, and they must have escaped, not without giving some good news. "Well, the culprit might have gotten away, but we managed to find the device they left." Handing over the device, Looker seemed to figure out how it worked and turned the machine off.
Soon, chaos had come to grow as the trainers had woken up from being hypnotized, as had the Pokémon. Later, after a few hours, the police came, with Officer Jenny talking to Looker. After finishing the talk, they both walked up to Troy, with Looker saying, "We usually don't allow this kind of stuff because of your rank, but the alliance wants this to not really be public, so we're going to give you 1000 points for helping out in this mission."
After everything that has happened today, Troy started to keep walking to the exit of Mt. Moon to get to Cerulean City, stopping after he had found a suspicious shard. Remembering about the quest for finding these shards, Troy picked one up and started to feel a bit dizzy but quickly got over it.
Somewhere near the entrance of Mt. Moon, Absol seemed to have been waiting for someone. "Ah, here you are, Absol. I was wondering where you took off, so did you find any shards by chance? " Absol shaking his head at this mysterious trainer, soon both turned around to leave Mt. Moon.
