Alexander Summers's eyes slanted downward, and his gaze fell upon the bunch of white roses in Gavin Graves's hands.

"You're visiting a patient, why do you even bring flowers…" Alexander couldn't help but offer a smile that was both strained and insincere as he looked at Gavin.

And they were roses no less.

Alexander somewhat didn't want Gavin to enter.

"Young Master Graves is here." Purple Summers lay in the hospital bed, her view blocked by Alexander, only able to see a corner of Gavin's clothing.

Gavin entered with the flowers in hand, asking her, "Feeling any better?"

Purple Summers smiled faintly, "I had a sleep, and now I feel much better."

Around the room, Gavin noted the spacious and bright ward with a comfortable environment. On the table, there was a blue ceramic vase, in which he placed the roses.

The roses were semi-bloomed buds, each pure white and plump, their fragrance rich and deep.

"Thank you, the flowers are beautiful," Purple expressed her gratitude to him.
