Anna Jadwin suddenly bumped into his arms, catching a whiff of his masculine... grown man's scent.
Both familiar and utterly strange!
Anna Jadwin's heart seemed to be clenched for a moment, her head hurriedly lifted, meeting his aggressive face.
"This cake's taste... is very familiar, I've had it before!"
Her lips moved...
She had made it for him many times before, the outcomes of her baking lessons, all accepted by him.
Delicious, unpalatable, burned, ruined... he wanted them all.
So, how could it not be familiar?
"Ms. Sullivan, I need an explanation!" He said as he clutched his aching head, the white light flashed quickly, unable to capture it.
"How should I explain it?" Anna Jadwin laugh softly.
She thought he had lost his memory, but besides her, he remembered everything else!
He actually still remembered Evelyn Ellis, he just pretended to forget...
On the cruise ship, his gaze toward Evelyn was just like before, disgusted and impatient.
