Just as she was about to fall asleep, she suddenly noticed a soft little body squirming into her quilt.

It crawled next to her and finally rested its little head on her belly, its innocent voice full of anticipation, "Daddy, is there a baby in little Evelyn's belly now?"

Evelyn could not hear Chester Yale's reply, and she wanted to open her eyes to see him but was too tired to even lift her eyelids.

Eventually, she only felt him seemingly embracing both little ones, placing them on either side of her.

He gently kissed her forehead, "Evelyn, happy birthday."
