"Who are you? This is the CEO's exclusive office area, you can't come up without notice." At the entrance of the CEO's Office, a young female secretary suddenly appeared. She saw Evelyn Sherman, furrowed her brows, and blocked her path.

"I have an appointment with Mr. Gomez. I'm here to see him," Evelyn paused for a moment, then spoke softly.

"Mr. Gomez's office is downstairs. If you have an appointment with him, why did you come here?" The secretary looked Evelyn up and down, and seeing that she was attractive, her tone became even more disdainful.

She looked at Evelyn as though she were one of those women who deliberately tried to get close to Chester Yale.

"Sorry, I must have taken the wrong way," Fearing she would disturb Chester, Evelyn hesitated for a moment before turning around, ready to leave.

Just as she reached the elevator, she suddenly remembered that Mr. Gomez was in Chester's office.

She turned back and was about to ask the secretary when Mr. Gomez would be free.
