Capítulo 384: One night_1

Last night, Morris Jackson stayed by Lyra Smith's side all night, barely sleeping. At four or five in the morning, it was time for him to catch up on sleep.

Lyra was awakened by hunger. She endured it for a while next to Morris before she could no longer bear it and cautiously got out of bed.

To her surprise, as soon as she moved, Morris woke up. However, he didn't get up and simply watched her.

Lyra climbed back into bed and said, "Good morning, Uncle Morris."

Morris reached out his arm to pull Lyra a bit closer, "It's still early, let's sleep some more."

"I need to go to the bathroom," Lyra said with pursed lips, trying to look innocent.

Morris let go of her hand.

"Uncle, you can keep sleeping, I'll be back soon." She quickly got up, put on her shoes, and tiptoed out of bed as quietly as possible.

Morris lay motionless in the same position as before, his arm on the other side of the bed, waiting for Lyra's return.

Lyra spent about five or six minutes in the bathroom.
