"Listen up, everyone," I declared, gathering Thomas, Elizabeth, and Lisa's attention. "The castle's exits would have been blocked by now. We need to find a new route to get out of the palace safely."
Thomas, with a furrowed brow, questioned, "My lord, how can you be so sure that the palace's exits have been blocked?"
I chuckled nervously. "I just guessed it. By the way, have any of you seen whether the castle's exits have been blocked or not?"
Thomas shook his head. "No."
"Why don't we escape from the castle the way you all came in?" he suggested.
I grimaced. "That's not possible."
He raised an eyebrow. "Why?"
Daniel interjected, "Because there's a massive serpent waiting for us."
Thomas's expression shifted. "Serpent? How is that even possible? I thought the tunnel was safe."
I sighed. "You thought. We saw it. The situation has changed, and we need a new plan. Any ideas on alternative routes or distractions?"
