Alex ushered Eric's wife and daughter, Anya, into his grand manor, a sprawling estate amidst the rich landscape.
In a luxurious room, he quickly relayed the recent events to Eric, who expressed gratitude to Alex with lingering anxiety across his face. Alex's intervention had averted unimaginable consequences for his loved ones.
"This little one's got a knack for natural communication, just like an elf. Stick around, and I'll help her harness the full extent of her powers," Alex declared, ruffling Anya's hair with a warm smile.
Alex also didn't forget to get Anta's hair, incorporating it into the system gene bank.
"Absolutely not!" Eric asserted firmly.
"My love, what's going on?" Eric's wife inquired, casting a puzzled look at her husband.
"I won't entrust our daughter to you," Eric retorted disdainfully.
"What are you talking about?" Alex raised an eyebrow, perplexed.
"Ten years back, you brought back a girl named Jean Grey. She was just six then, and you've been her guardian ever since. Now, my daughter's the same age. Forget it," Eric explained, cradling Anya protectively. The wariness in his eyes mirrored that of his wife.
"Man... Jean's situation is unique. A natural fifth-level Mutant, her unguided power could obliterate the Earth. If not for my mark, your daughter would have fallen into the wrong hands," Alex clarified.
Eric fell into contemplative silence. The truth loomed large—he could not safeguard his family. On the other hand, Alex possessed the necessary skills to protect his daughter. A difficult decision lay ahead.
After a prolonged silence, Eric conceded, "Alex, you're right. Take care of Anya."
"Eric, no need for the dramatics. Visit Anya whenever you can. I'll teach her to control this power. After all, she is my only niece," Alex laughed, patting Eric on the shoulder.
"Alright," Eric sighed, puttin' his trust in Alex.
At the brink of life and death, a bond like theirs couldn't get any stronger. How could he question it?
Alex tasked Jean with fixin' up a spot for Anya. The little one didn't mind Alex and Eric's talk but was mighty curious about Alex Manor Garden.
Suddenly, Alex's face changed, feelin' Charles's psychic power spreadin' far and wide.
In an instant,
A thunderous sound echoed outside the window, making Eric snap his head up.
Rockets galore, shootin' up into the outer space.
"What in tarnation..." Eric asked, a serious look on his face.
"Nuclear weapons," Alex squinted.
"Are these bastards out of their minds? Launching nukes, fucking nukes. Is it the start of World War Three," Eric's face shifted.
He and Alex had lived through the horrors of World War II's Nazi concentration camps. They despised war.
"Ain't them. It's Charles. Apocalypse's got a grip on him through psychic power," Alex sighed, sharing the grim truth.
"Apocalypse? Ain't he supposed to be in Cairo? How's he pulling Charles's strings?" Eric questioned, eyebrows raising.
"Charles linked up with Apocalypse's mind and got counter-controlled by that invading power," Alex shook his head, muttering.
Suddenly, a mighty psychic power spread across the globe.
"Either bow down and worship me or die." Apocalypse's declaration echoed in everyone's minds.
Alex's mind swirled with the echoes of Apocalypse's laughter.
Amidst this, a cry for help pierced the mental landscape. Charles's desperate plea echoed in Alex's mind. The urgency in Charles's voice resonated like the howling winds on the frontier.
"Alex, help!"

Charles Manor
Apocalypse approached Charles with a menacing aura.
"Charles, is it? Your power is quite useful," Apocalypse remarked as he extended his hand, forcefully seizing Charles.
With an eerie grin, Apocalypse reveled in the newfound control granted by Charles's psychic abilities.
"Your spiritual prowess gives me dominion over the entire world! I shall be the sole god, reigning over this realm for all eternity!" Apocalypse declared triumphantly, lifting Charles into the air.
Charles retorted, "Apocalypse, you won't succeed! Someone will stand against you!"
"Stop me? I am the god of this world! I will rule indefinitely!" Apocalypse proclaimed, bathed in a faint blue glow as he reopened a void passage and vanished into it.
"Professor!"
In a crisis, Summers sprinted forward, his palm radiating fiery brilliance. Two lasers erupted from his hand, hurtling towards Apocalypse with immense force.
As the lasers tore through the air, Apocalypse disappeared through the void passage.
The laser cannons, however, crashed through the wall and struck the energy reactor of the brainwave amplifier.
An explosion ensued, flames engulfed the surroundings, and an ominous sense of doom filled the air.
"Oh no!"
Summers and Hank cried out in despair, realizing the entire Mutant school was in peril.
"What the fuck are you doing?" Alex, accompanied by Eric, teleported to the heart of the explosion, astounded by the scale of destruction.
Recognizing the imminent threat to the Alex moved.
The fiery reactor, moments away from catastrophic failure, abruptly stopped. The violent energy seemed to vanish into a void as Alex absorbed it all.
"Alex!"
Seeing the figure of salvation, Hank and the others breathed a sigh of relief.
"Alex, Apocalypse has Charles! We need your help!"
Hank hollered at Alex, wearing a worried look on his face, "Hurry! Save Charles!"
"What happened!" Alex brought Eric over and inquired, putting on a pretense.
"The professor aimed to chat with Apocalypse, but he got taken over. Apocalypse sniffed him out and hauled the professor away," Alex explained straightforwardly.
Right then, a fella dashed in like he teleported. A young guy with sunglasses atop his head and a Walkman danglin' from his waist appeared before everyone.
"Huh? Wasn't it about to blow? I was planning on swooping in for the rescue!"
Quicksilver looked bewildered.
"Are you Quicksilver?" Alex eyed Quicksilver with interest. Ain't this Eric's child?
"You know me?" Quicksilver gave Alex a strange look, not recallin' ever seein' this fella.
"I not only know you but your pops too." Alex glanced at Eric casually with a sly smile.
"You know my old man?" Quicksilver's eyes narrowed. His father's Magneto and this sharp-looking young man were likely acquainted with him. Most mutants know Magneto, but Quicksilver hasn't told his life story to anyone.
"For sure, still a good buddy with your dad." Alex shot Magneto a teasing look.
"Hey, Alex, you know this kid's dad?" Eric gripped Alex's shoulder, confused as all got out.
"Yeah, this kid is yours, Eric," Alex chuckled.
"What?" Eric's eyes widened, starin' at Alex like he'd lost his marbles. He pointed at himself, then at Quicksilver, and blurted out, "You're saying this kid's my son?"
"Yeah!" Alex affirmed with a solemn nod, his demeanor revealing a seriousness.
With a decisive point of his finger, he directed attention to Quicksilver.
"You'll find the truth if you ask the kid," Alex said, indicating Quicksilver, "He's well aware of his lineage. Knows who his old man is."
Eric's gaze shifted towards Quicksilver, a silent query in his eyes. In response, Quicksilver nodded, confirming the veracity of the revelation.
"Your mother is…" Eric began, his voice softening, delving into the personal history in the shadows.
"Magda," Quicksilver responded his expression a canvas of tangled emotions.
"It's her," Eric acknowledged.
"I've got a sister too, goes by the name of Wanda," Quicksilver added, his gaze locked onto Eric. The revelation hung in the air like the scent of sagebrush, leaving a lingering trail of anticipation.
