Capítulo 150: Diary

Luke looked at the diary in his hand, his thoughts racing. There was no way he would let Tom Riddle, the potential second-generation Voldemort, just disappear. Tom's talent and knowledge were too valuable to waste.

"What the hell do you want to do? Kill me, Geralt!" Tom's angry handwriting appeared on the diary's pages, his frustration palpable after being ignored for so long.

Luke smiled, transforming Ronald's wand into a quill. "It's not about killing you..."

"You—" Tom's words were cut off as Luke continued writing.

"Tom , do you want an active body too?"

Tom's response was a mixture of confusion and rage, "?"

"You're going to kill Ronald Weasley?"

"Hahaha, Geralt, don't try to lie to me! Now you don't want to get any knowledge from me!" Tom's response was filled with derision.

Luke glanced at Ronald, lying on the ground with a pale face. His chest rose and fell slightly, indicating he was still alive.

"So, you're talking about recovering your body by sacrificing Ronald?" Luke mused aloud.

It seemed Tom had knowledge of a method Luke had never heard of before. "So there is a way to shape a body this way. My friend, you haven't mentioned it before."

"Pooh!" came Tom's dismissive response before the diary fell silent.

Luke chuckled, flipping through the diary's pages. "You see, Tom, there's more than one way to achieve what we want. But for now, let's keep things simple."

He carefully tucked the diary into his pocket, making sure it was secure. "I'll give you something better than an unwilling sacrifice, Tom . Just you wait."

Luke glanced at the unconscious Ronald again, shaking his head. "You'll get your chance, but not through this method. There's a much grander plan in motion."

With that, Luke turned and left the chamber, leaving Ronald to be found and cared for by someone else. He had other things to prepare, and a diary-bound Dark Lord to keep under control.

Luke noticed that no matter what he wrote next, Tom refused to respond. After a moment of contemplation, Luke's neat handwriting appeared on the diary:

"I remember Mrs. Sprout had some rich manure for her plants yesterday..."

Tom's frustration boiled over. Fertilizer? What kind of fertilizer could plants use?

"I beg you, Tom, be a man!" he exclaimed. Tom was thoroughly fed up with Luke, who was proving to be even darker than himself. He would rather be burned alive by a fiery spell than deal with Luke any longer.

"I'll help you recover, and you help me with something," Luke wrote, relying on the snake's head to finish his message.

He knew Tom would never agree, but he relished seeing Tom's frantic reactions.

"Geralt, why didn't I realize you still like to dream?" Tom sneered. "If you want me to do things for you, you might as well burn the entire diary with a fiery fire spell!"

Tom was the second Dark Lord, after all! Even though he was still a student, he wasn't going to be manipulated by Luke.

"An unexpected answer," Luke shrugged and closed the diary.

The resurrection of Tom still required a living sacrifice. Although there was a ready-made one lying on the ground, it was unfortunately immobile.

"Alright, you go back to the cave and wait. I'll take you to eat eight-eyed spiders in the Forbidden Forest in a few days."

With a snap of his fingers, the basilisk slowly returned to its lair and resumed its slumber.

Luke glanced at his watch—it was already two o'clock in the morning.

Luke gently released Ronald with the Levitation Charm, allowing him to rest in his bed at Gryffindor's dormitory. His actions had been meticulously planned, including leaving a spatial marker in Harry's dormitory the last time Scabbers was captured. This made transporting Ronald seamless and quiet, ensuring no one would be the wiser.

With Ronald safely returned, Luke made his way back to the Slytherin dormitory. He still held the diary, the vessel that had once contained Tom Riddle's essence. Considering the dangers it posed, he carefully placed it in a drawer by his bed, fortifying it with multiple layers of magical spells for security. Even though Tom's powers had been significantly diminished, Luke was not one to take unnecessary risks. After all, Tom Riddle, the future Voldemort, was not to be underestimated.

Satisfied that everything was secure, Luke finally allowed himself to rest. The night's events had been taxing, but necessary. The chamber of secrets, the confrontation with Tom, and the disposal of the basilisk had all gone as planned. Yet, it was a secret that would remain buried, with no one aware of the horrors that had transpired or the torment Tom Riddle had endured. The morning light in Slytherin's dormitory revealed nothing of the previous night's events, as if it had all been a bad dream.

The next morning, Luke woke up and checked the drawer with the diary. It was still securely in place, showing no signs of movement. This reassured him, but he knew he needed to take further precautions. He thought about inscribing a rune to isolate the diary's magic completely, pondering the many secrets Hogwarts still held, beyond the Chamber of Secrets he had already explored.

After getting ready, Luke left his room and headed towards the Great Hall for breakfast. Along the way, he encountered Cedric, Fred, and George, who looked exhausted and dirty.

"Good morning, Luke," Cedric greeted with a smile, despite his tired appearance.

"Good morning, all of you," Luke replied, noticing their disheveled state. "What happened to you guys?"

Fred, looking utterly drained, responded, "Wood dragged us to practice at four in the morning."

"Four o'clock?" Luke repeated, wide-eyed. "Isn't that a bit extreme?"

Cedric chuckled, "I joined them at six and practiced a bit. Hufflepuff isn't as intense as Gryffindor; we just do it for fun and fitness."

George sighed, "Wood is determined to win, no matter what."

Luke smiled and shook his head at the Gryffindor Quidditch team's dedication. "Let's go grab breakfast," he suggested, leading the group into the Great Hall.

Once inside, Cedric parted ways to join the Hufflepuff table, while Luke and the twins headed towards the Gryffindor table. There, they found Ronald looking pale and weary, with Harry sitting beside him, clearly worried.

Luke approached Hermione, who was already engrossed in her book, and greeted her with a light hug. "Good morning, my little witch," he whispered, a fond smile on his face.
