Capítulo 44: A TALE OF MACAROONS, FRIENDSHIP AND MYSTERY

When he arrived, he found Venus waiting for him, his expression grave.

"Joz, I'm glad you're here," he said gesturing for him to sit down. "We need to talk about what happened in Igeau."

Joz nodded, feeling the weight of the situation settle upon his shoulders.

"Tell me everything you know." Venus said, and with that the conversation began.

"I heard about it on my travels," Joz replied. "Some of the commoners I spoke to mentioned that the village had been attacked and this is not the first time such has happened. First it was..." Joz stopped and swallowed. "First it was the fangs and now the culprits are unknown. They are in dire need of assistance."

Venus nodded thoughtfully. "Unknown you say?"

"Affirmative, but rumors have it that they are very skilled swordsmen. And some of them even wield sorcery," Joz paused looking for the right words. "Yes, and they have their faces covered in hoods, along with them are ancient black dogs of ilsuei."
