She saw him leaning his head closer, his breaths were all over her face.

"Chris!?"

A woman's distant voice brought them back from their reverie.

"Ahem~"

Suzy cleared her throat, hinting to free her. Chris, feeling her discomfort, let her go.

Detaching from him, she stood aside as her breathing was erratic and so was her heartbeat.

Her face was hot.

Her throat dried, feeling parched, she went ahead to buy a water bottle.

"Chris, what a coincidence!" Sofia came closer and remarked.

"Oh Miss Evans!"

He turned around and greeted her politely.

"By the way, are you here for business?" Sofia inquired.

"No, I'm just here for vacation." He replied, but his eyes kept searching for Suzy.

"I see you are distressed, are you searching for someone?" She also looked in the direction where he had his eyes glued.

Unable to find Suzy, Chris turned his body to face Sofia.
