"Boom————!"
As a blast like that of an electromagnetic railgun descended from the sky and landed on Rozen, a massive explosion unfolded in the sky.
A violent gust of wind arose.
Flames erupted.
The fiery explosion bloomed in the sky like a dream flower, illuminating the twilight beneath the barrier while sweeping outward. The forest below was as if struck by a large-scale typhoon, with layers being stripped away, leaving a deeply impactful scene.
The one responsible for this blast was, of course, it — Kako [2].
Covered entirely in a red metallic shell, the variant had somehow flown high into the sky. The long barrel at its back flashed with red arcs of electricity, signaling that it was the source of the blast.
The power of the attack far surpassed the Concentrated Magic Cannon, unleashing a majestic explosion as it was aimed at Rozen. The scene was incredibly spectacular.
However, the blast from this Kako [2] variant did not directly hit Rozen.
It was as though Rozen had anticipated this all along. He stood motionless, surrounded by an invisible barrier that deflected the attack from Kako [2], allowing the explosion to be blocked at his side. The shockwave and flames were unable to reach him, no matter how they roared and surged.
"Did you think I wouldn't notice?"
Rozen finally turned his head, looking in the direction of the Kako [2] variant.
Yet, as he looked at Kako [2], Rozen also raised a hand to shield his back.
"Shing!"
Almost at the same time, a mantis-like Armored Beetle suddenly lunged at Rozen's back, raising its vibrating scythes. The air split as the scythes slashed toward Rozen's head.
"Clang————!"
A sound like the toll of a bell echoed as the scythes, which could easily slice through even magical alchemical weapons, struck Rozen's raised arm, igniting a fierce shower of sparks.
The Kakushuku [1] variant relentlessly hacked at Rozen.
Its slashing strikes were nearly unstoppable, earning it the title of a frontline killer. Any combatant engaged in close combat would inevitably be driven into a corner by its pair of indestructible scythes. Engaging it in melee combat was an exceedingly foolish decision.
In the past, this variant had relied on its razor-sharp strikes to first cut through Sky Wizards' magical alchemical weapons, then slice them in half. The best way to deal with it was through ranged attacks or bombardment, not close-quarters combat.
Yet Rozen blocked its indestructible scythes with his arm without even glancing at it. His gaze remained locked on the direction of the Kako [2] variant, a glint of fire flashing in his eyes.
"Boom————!"
At that moment, as the Kako [2] variant prepared for its second blast, it was engulfed by an invisible explosion.
Just as Rozen had experienced earlier, shockwaves and flames suddenly surged, on a scale even larger than before.
The Kako [2] variant was swallowed by the explosion, disappearing completely within the flames.
Only then did Rozen turn around to face the Kakushuku [1] variant behind him.
"Bang————!"
With a heavy sound that seemed to make hearts skip a beat, Rozen clenched his fist and threw a punch, hitting the Kakushuku [1] variant directly, unleashing terrifying power.
It must be known that Kongouriki not only provided invincible defense but also had an incredible strengthening effect on the body. Both strength and speed could be increased by a thousandfold or even more.
Thus, when Rozen unleashed a full-force punch at the Kakushuku [1] variant, it was like an immensely powerful missile, causing the mantis-like Armored Beetle to explode into countless fragments of flesh and blood.
At this point, all of the forces brought by Leysritt had been annihilated by Rozen.
Behemoth had perished in a sea of crimson flames.
The variants were obliterated by Rozen's attacks.
Every enemy was wiped out by Rozen's hands, unable to last even a single round.
All of them were instantly killed.
However, at that moment, not only did Leysritt remain unfazed, but Rozen also furrowed his brows.
Because Rozen sensed something amiss.
"The jutsuryoku of the Armored Beetles still lingers?"
Yes.
The jutsuryoku of the Armored Beetles still remained.
Whether it was Kakushuku [1], Kako [2], or Sanshuku [7], the jutsuryoku of these three variants continued to linger in this space, connecting with each other and circulating endlessly.
"Could it be..."
Rozen thought of a possibility.
Seeing this, Leysritt, who had been watching as if enjoying a show, began to clap her hands.
"It seems you've figured it out. Hehe." Leysritt said happily, "Big brother is certainly strong, but the Triumvirate Variants cannot be defeated."
Just as Leysritt's words fell, the jutsuryoku of the three variant Armored Beetles suddenly surged.
Countless black particles appeared and gathered around Leysritt, reforming into the variants, reviving them.
"Roar!"
The Kakushuku [1] variant shook its scythes.
"Roar!"
The Kako [2] variant extended its cannon.
"Roar!"
The Sanshuku [7] variant opened its mouth again, unleashing a swarm of smaller variants.
And these three variants had become even larger, stronger, and fiercer, causing the swarms of smaller variants to become equally powerful, all heavily enhanced.
At this point, Rozen understood.
A triumvirate of variants?
The jutsuryoku of these three variants could spread amongst each other and was also linked to Leysritt.
"They won't be destroyed. Even if one is destroyed, as long as another remains, the destroyed one will begin to regenerate after sixty seconds, and once regenerated, it will be even stronger than before. Unless all three are killed within sixty seconds, they'll never be destroyed."
Leysritt, seeming to enjoy Rozen's potential shock, continued her explanation.
"And with my Chaotic Resurrection enhancing them, the Triumvirate Variants' jutsuryoku is now connected to me. Unless I am defeated, they will never be destroyed."
In other words, in Leysritt's hands, the only weakness of the Triumvirate Variants had been eliminated.
Even if all three were wiped out within sixty seconds, as long as Leysritt remained, they would continue to revive.
As Leysritt said, these three variants were undefeatable and would only grow stronger.
This was why Leysritt dared to face Rozen directly.
"Even big brother can't win against the Triumvirate Variants."
Leysritt declared proudly.
"This is my invincible army. With them, no one is my match."
Perhaps Leysritt's individual strength among Collapse Force holders wasn't remarkable.
However, with her curse abilities, Leysritt was the strongest commander.
Large-scale group combat was Leysritt's specialty.
Mass army tactics were her weapon.
Leysritt was undoubtedly a master of servants.
Unfortunately...
"An invincible army? No one can beat you?"
Rozen laughed.
A laugh full of irony.
