“But I think Edward should have found what he was looking for,” Net continued, her eyes looking at Mira and Edward walking hand in hand. Albert seemed to enjoy strolling along the beach. The sun was nearing the horizon. I could hear Edward talking to Mira in a normal and natural voice, and I liked the way he spoke and the meaning of his words.

“It's good that you can't see my face because compared to you, I am like a goblin,” he said, laughing. Mira didn’t say anything. She just smiled shyly, but when Edward continued talking, I could see Mira squeeze Edward's hand harder. “Right now, I feel like I'm not very proud of myself. But please believe me, I'll be ready soon, ready to take care of you forever.”

“Yes.” Mira nodded and turned to the man before continuing. "Mr. Sebastian," she called.

“Hmm?”

“May I touch your face?” Mira asked, pausing for an answer, which the person being asked stopped his footsteps and stood still before reaching out to hold Mira's two hands to his face.
