Old Madam Ying did not look up.
She thought it must have been the caregiver who had returned after changing the water.
She was staying in the top-tier ward at the First Hospital, where no one else could enter without permission.
It was not until the visitor approached the bedside that Old Madam Ying realized something was wrong.
Her eyes widened in shock as she saw a middle-aged woman.
The woman's face seemed somewhat familiar to her, yet it was indeed strange.
Old Madam Ying frowned, propped herself up with the bedboard, and slowly sat up, "Who are you? A new caregiver?"
"A caregiver? I am not," Jing Hongzhen chuckled, "Old Madam, I just heard that you don't have much time left, so I came to see you. What if you're not here anymore later on?"
Upon hearing this, Old Madam Ying's face turned bright red with anger, "Get out! Get out!"
She started coughing violently, almost as if she was hacking up her lungs.
