Capítulo 276: Chapter 277 : Let Go!

"Have you lost consciousness? It's so sad, Ginkaku," Takeshi remarked, unfazed by the imposing figure of the arrogant Ginkaku before him, despite the destructive force of the chakra-infused wind raging around him.

As the tension escalated, Takeshi swiftly executed hand seals, causing the earth to rupture, and a colossal mouth emerged from the ground.

Disregarding the sand-sealed corpse of Kinkaku, Takeshi tossed it aside, only for it to be promptly consumed by a waiting tongue before the massive head vanished beneath the earth's surface.

"Is this... the giant lizard mentioned in the intel... Uchiha Dragon's summoning beast?" Tobirama, struggling but resolute, rose to his feet, his gaze piercing as he attempted to discern the masked indifference of Takeshi.

Their reunion marked a stark contrast from their previous encounter. Ginkaku had now completed its full transformation into a tailed beast, its body swelling several times over as it charged towards Takeshi, who, along with Tobirama, remained momentarily indifferent.

"What is your intent? Are you seeking to incite war?" Tobirama's inquiry was earnest, his eyes ablaze with determination as he scrutinized Takeshi.

The enigmatic "Uchiha" figure, appearing seemingly out of thin air in the ninja world, bore significant implications. Tobirama harbored myriad questions, yearning to unravel the purpose and identity of the individual before him, a matter of utmost importance to him and Konoha.

"If you make it out alive..." Takeshi's retort was interrupted by Ginkaku, now completely consumed by the influence of the nine-tailed chakra, hurtling towards him.

"You, lacking consciousness, possess considerable power. Let me witness it!" Takeshi egged on, facing a tailed beast-like adversary for the first time. The formidable chakra emanating from it was undoubtedly on par with a Kage-level threat, surpassing even Naruto's four-tailed form in its intensity during the clash with Orochimaru.

Yet, Takeshi remained unfazed, even exhilarated, by the prospect. Having assimilated Orochimaru's power, he felt no urgency to dispatch Tobirama, harboring alternative plans instead.

With a resounding crash, Ginkaku lunged at Takeshi, its six tails morphing into razor-sharp claws in pursuit. Swiftly evading the attack, Takeshi taunted, "Come at me, beast!"

Retreating, Takeshi employed a Water Release jutsu, directing torrents of water towards Ginkaku. Sensing the innate aversion of the Nine-Tails to water, Ginkaku bellowed in revulsion before charging headlong towards Takeshi amidst the cascading flow.

"Crisp—crisp—!"

A rush of water cascaded onto his body, streaming over the scorching Ginkakus like droplets on a hot iron, instantly vaporizing upon contact.

"Come on, you fool!"

Takeshi beckoned to Ginkaku, and the two figures gradually faded into the smoke, leaving Tobirama, gravely injured, behind.

"This is my chance!"

Tobirama had thought death was imminent, yet to his surprise, Uchiha Dragon seemed to disregard him for the time being, a notion that bordered on incredulity.

"You're not going to kill me. Do you plan to take care of Ginkaku first and then slowly extract information from me? Are you seeking to disgrace me, Senju Tobirama? Or perhaps you believe I won't escape after being struck by Ginkaku's seal and Kinkaku's attack?"

Tobirama felt a glimmer of hope amidst the aftermath, regardless of the circumstances.

"However..."

As he struggled to rise, he involuntarily spat out a mouthful of blood!

The force coursing through his body felt obscure; Tobirama had never been so close to death. He had narrowly escaped the clutches of Ginkaku!

"Uchiha Dragon, that scoundrel! Why is he here?!"

The agony of near-death brought Tobirama to a clearer consciousness, and the fervent desire to survive propelled him to inch away, leaving behind bloody footprints.

"He knew of this secret truce and observed from afar for so long, yet I remained oblivious! Who is he, damn it?!"

Contemplating Takeshi's actions, Tobirama felt a chill creep over him, as if a venomous serpent lurked in the shadows, watching silently, poised to strike at his weakest moment.

The foreboding, the calculated anticipation of his adversary, ignited Tobirama's fury.

Blood continued to trickle from his wounds, and it seemed that even the Senju Clan's regenerative abilities and vitality were suppressed by Ginkaku's and Kinkaku's mysterious techniques.

"Heh, Dragon Uchiha, do you think I'll succumb like this?"

Tobirama's countenance bore the pallor of impending demise, and if this continued, he might collapse imminently.

But he must return to oversee matters; he cannot falter, for a glimmer of hope still flickered...

"My, the power of the Nine Tails is truly remarkable, surpassing Shukaku by leaps and bounds!"

Off in the distance, Takeshi continued his battle with Ginkaku, yet his mental acuity and keen sight extended far, witnessing Tobirama's movements.

Clearly, Takeshi had intentionally allowed Tobirama to depart.

"A beast remains a beast, formidable yet boundless in its savagery."

Before him, Ginkaku roared and lashed out, its attacks a flurry of claws, tail swipes, and fire breath.

But none of these assaults posed a threat to the current Takeshi.

Much like Orochimaru, weakened by the aftermath of his reincarnation jutsu, who could still hold his own against Naruto's constant taunts and provocations despite his diminished strength.

It was merely due to his significantly weakened state that he couldn't effectively harm Naruto, yet it was effortless to evade.

In a scenario where the strength gap isn't substantial, perhaps only Jiraiya would sustain serious injuries from Naruto...

Takeshi hurled a barrage of kunai, but the intense heat melted them into molten metal before reaching Ginkaku. Without surprise, he then pounded the horn with a fist, shattering its gleaming surface adorned with bone veins.

"Boom!"

Ginkaku took the full force of Takeshi's punch, yet promptly sprouted another chakra-formed head from its upper body, swatting Takeshi away with a claw.

"Roar--!"

Ginkaku bellowed, unleashing a deafening soundwave that caused a massive explosion fueled solely by chakra. The shockwave forcibly carved a ravine in the earth, leaving Takeshi sprawled at its end.

"Roar--!"

Ginkaku, the vessel of the Nine-Tails' chakra, seemed to have vanquished the pesky nuisance before it and emitted an exultant roar.

"Well... that stung a bit."

However, shortly after, Takeshi rose amidst Ginkaku's roar.

His clothes were in tatters, he appeared severely wounded, limping as he moved.

His fists and arms, which had borne the brunt of the Nine-Tails' assault, were charred black. Even with the boost from the cursed seals, he was temporarily unable to withstand the Nine-Tails' formidable chakra.

Yet Takeshi showed no fear of injury, perhaps even feigning parity with Ginkaku.

"Crackling--"

Necrotic, charred skin flaked off Takeshi's body, as though he were shedding his damaged exterior, swiftly tending to his wounds.

Aside from his torn attire and partially depleted chakra, Takeshi's aura remained largely undiminished.

This was Takeshi inheriting Orochimaru's aberrant physiology and astonishing resilience!

Truly, the one who cannot be killed is the most formidable!

"Roar--!"

Ginkaku was evidently furious, crouching down to amass chakra, intent on unleashing a more devastating attack to pulverize the audacious pests.

Takeshi silently observed Ginkaku's transformation into a tailed beast, almost as if he were surveying his trophies.

"Without genuine human-controlled power, save for the Nine-Tails and perhaps the Eight-Tails, who wield tenfold strength, the other tailed beasts possess power beyond that of kage-level ninjas, yet they can only rampage before ordinary shinobi..."

Takeshi clasped his hands together, a tinge of dark green chakra coalescing around him. Confronting Ginkaku, he remained unperturbed.

"Tobirama, it has been too long. Are you prepared? Don't make this difficult for me."
